there's nothing to play but pokemon and its respective romhacks
>>11358229The Zelda games are pretty good.
>there's nothing to playum ACKchually
Bait thread
>>11358229wario land 2>>11358243this game has cool music
Final Fantasy Legends was good. And it's a real Final Fantasy game too. Has everything they all do.
>>11358229The Tiny Toons games were pretty good.
>>11358229There is a strangely comfy version of shadowgate for it
>>11358229Dk94 is objectively better than pokemon.
>>11358229DMG doesn't have much, but that's a GBC which has plenty.
>>11358473
>>11358479The period of interchangeable GBC/gb carts were good, oddworld 1/2 are good adaptions.
>>11358229Mother of baits
play the wizardry ports and the gaiden series!
>>11358229Still the best Wario + Metroid is a match made in heaven
Dragon Warrior MonstersDragon Warrior 3Heroes of Might and Magic 2+3Wario Land (series)Donkey Kong ‘94Metroid 2Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening
>>11358229Star Ocean: Blue Sphere
>>11358229GB and GBC have some of the most in depth libraries you could ever want... load up full ROM sets on your computer or handheld and give it a shot, surely there's lots that you'd be interested in playing, right?
>>11358470Stop trying to do this to people. This is the WORST version of this game.
>>11358229Metroid 2 is awesome. A must play for sure.
>>11358229You know, you're right. It was the fourth best selling video game system of all time for no reason at all.
>>11359191I don't know I thought it was pretty neat
>>11358229...I would say if I was a fake game nerd who likes the Madden of RPGs
GB+GBC has a better library than GBA, and you know it to be true.
>>11359234Why? It's terrible.
>>11359246I don't think many people would disagree with this outside of the people that really like the Castlevania and Metroid games.
>>11359258Also Fire Emblem/Sonic/MegaMan fags.
>>11359263As a Mega Man fag Battle Network or Zero isnt enough to make me say it had a better library.
>>11359293Seriously? That's actually one of the areas I'd give it to them. Everything other than V is just a shitty NES port/remix.
>>11359191Why?
bro it's got winnie the pooh: adventures in the 100 acre wood and pooh and tigger's hunny safari.... shut the fuck up you ignorant mf
>>11359350Yeah, there's no Contra, Castlevania, Wario, Zelda, Mario, Tetris, Final Fantasy, Ninja Gaiden, nope, nothing, just Disney license games for 3 year olds.
>>11358470looks comfy indeed
>>11359248To be fair, it was the onIy version I played and it's very nostalgic for me but I do think the artwork and atmosphere is great
>>11359472
>>11359246Both libraries are very deep, you can make a strong argument for either.GBA definitely wins if unofficial titles are allowed. In addition to endless romhacks there are a lot of really good unofficial VN ports that are incredibly charming.I also think GBA is the better RPG machine, even though both systems have plenty of great RPGs, simply because the screen feels so much less cramped.
>>11359507>a lot of really good unofficial VN ports
>>11358229There's a lot to play and apparently a bunch of newer games coming to it in the next year
Gameboy screen size is unbearable if you're an adult.
>>11359627Which one?
>>11359636Any of them.
>>11359627Maybe if you're a retarded adult.
>>11359661I assume you need glasses?
>>11358229Jungle book game and donkey kong land games.
>>1135967020/20 vision, what I'm saying is even on an emulator the resolution of any game is too cramped. It's for kids.
>>11359703Never really had an issue to be honest, except with the original GBA being hard to see
>>11359627>>11359703You definitely do not have perfect vision.
>>11359246Not even close.
>>11359627I agree, bigger screens are just better to play. It doesn't help that most of them weren't even backlit, Nintendo were cheap bastards.Emulation is the way to go.
>>11358229I loved my GBC as a kid, it was my only Nintendo. I didn't realise that everything I was playing was a SNES/NES/whatever port
>>11360853>weren't even backlit, Nintendo were cheap bastards. What a dumb thing to say, I bet you think game gears backlight was a good idea
>>11360853>It doesn't help that most of them weren't even backlit, Nintendo were cheap bastards.Good way to tell everyone you're a retard without actually saying, "I'm a retard".
>>11358470>>11359191The fact they did fit this game (a point n click, of ALL genres) on Game Boy is terrific, terrifying, hilarious and impressive at the same time. I'll give them credit just for attempting.
>>11359627Feels just fine to me. You may need glasses.
>>11358238Actually isn't a nerd phrase you dumb fat fagget nerd
>>11361426They put all the classic MacVentures on NES way before that. Now, setting aside that interacting with those games is a bit rough and clunky with a D-Pad, those ports are overall pretty damn good, they did the graphics well, and they added music tracks which fit extremely well (the originals had no music). If there was a way to play those ports with a mouse somehow, they'd be one of the better ones.
>>11361487>If there was a way to play those ports with a mouse somehowI think Steam ports allow to do that, but i'm not sureNES is one thing, but playing this on Game Boy (where D-Pad is even more stiff) should be a quiet torture
>>11360853Holy zoomie
>>11360853Bro is that what people call a "gamesir"
>>11360381I actually do, but you wouldn't know.
>>11358229I run into this with most handhelds. The DS had such an amazing library yet the only thing I can get into is pokemon.
