Look, I bought a Nintendo GameCube with some controllers and some games too, but I can play for a few minutes with the GameCube but it just shuts off after a few minutes of playing. Does anyone know why this error occurs and how I can fix it?

sounds like your cube has depression. it can attempt a game, but simply gives up once it sees the futility of it all. throw it in the garbage, keep the controller, install dolphin on pc. problem solved

Not super familiar with the gamecube, but sounds like it could be problem with overheating. Someone may have opened it up and did a terrible job replacing the thermal pads connecting the chips to the heatsink. You might also want to make sure the fan is actually working.

I'll look at that and thank you

I had this problem once. I got another one from KB Toys and we out the broken one back in the box and returned it. Worked fine since then.

Maybe earlier than that. It was the summer after Animal Crossing came out. I think it was after leaving vs. mode melee on for a few night to unlock giga Bowser. That might have been the new one because I think I printed off the page with how to unlock him at school and they didn't give us access to the printers till after thay I think.

Make sure the fan is working, if it is, replace the thermal pads.

It's very likely overheating. I've had two separate consoles exhibit this issue in the past, and in both instances, the fan was not working in some way.

Thanks you!

That's what's known as fraud.
