Thoughts on the Driver series?

I've only played the first game but I played it a lot. It looks lame now but it blew my mind free roam driving around like that.

I once got this epic sequence in Film Director mode by chance where there was this Blues Brotheresque pileup and then this car bounced on this other upturned one and went into fucking orbit.

My biggest 5th gen regret is having to delete the whole thing eventually to free Memory Card space.
