A lot of "cute" games were either highly changed or just not brought over at all when it came to the US. They were released as-in from Japan in Europe though.

Famicom version supports 3 player coop without a multitap. Pretty neat.

The original Twin Bee got the 3D Classic treatment on 3DS, which was great, sadly not the sequels.
