Should I play the GameCube or Wii version?
>>12135307Gamecube is the correct way. Wii does have an extra item slot or two in the UI though.
I honestly never played Twilight Princess. After Wind Waker was so easy and dull, I just checked out of these games and moved on to other stuff. I assume this game is just more of the same, like Ocarina of Time just with less weight, again.
>>12135332How does this answer OPs question?
>>12135307Wii if you want the real launch experience.pretty much everyone who was hyped for the game picked it up for the wii since they delibertly delayed the gamecube version to make it a timed wii exclusive.technically the wii version is mirrored but depending on which version you play the other one will feel mirrored to you.the correct answer is the wii u version.
>>12135307either/or really, they're pretty much the same game except they reversed the map for the wii version and >>12135321. the motion controls don't add much except being able to cut grass while moving and they don't detract much either, they're pretty simple compared to skyward sword.
>>12135307wii u hd version.
>>12135368>the correct answer is the wii u version. The only reason to play Wii U is Hero Mode. Which is mirrored anyway...I don't like any of the Zelda remasters/remakes though. The only necessary one was Four Swords.
>>12135307GameCube. The Wii version may have better aiming, but it's not worth putting up with the waggle.
>>12135332it's a shitty mix of oot and mm
>>12135307It's not worth playing.
>>12135307I tried both, and Wii is the definitive version for me
>>12135307WiiU > GC > Wiiwiimote aiming is cool and all but its not that important to have snap aiming vs lock-on/manual aim with the sticks
>>12135381>the motion controls don't add much except being able to cut grass while movingyou can do that in the gamecube version too
itt: lazy fatasses who can't be bothered to shake their wrist and lift their arms to point
>>12135808play this if you want exercise lad, the added game modes in it are pretty fun honestly
>>12135808youre a lazy fatass for playing video games in the first place instead of going outside and working in a coal mine
>>12135424>I don't like any of the Zelda remasters/remakes though.I feel like the Wind Waker remaster fixes a lot of the problems that the gamecube version had. Other than that, I agree that the remasters aren't that notable
>>12135360OP's question was answered, anon just wanted to inject some conversation.
>>12135827you're a lazy fatass for thinking you have to choose between the two
>>12135501Do it for her
>>12136105I could just jerk off and not play the game and spend that time on a better game like tom and jerry for the n64
>>12136105She must be embarrassed that Link sees her true regal form, after she had been toying with him using many slutty impish expressions.>>12136106Imagining Midna is more fun than playing Twilight Princess to be fair.
>>12136106>>12136108Fair enough. Play Hyrule Warriors instead, Twili Midna is busted in that game.
>>12136153that game is garbage I'd definitely pick jerking off over it
Any version is fine honestly. GC and Wii are literally the same game with different controls, and HD's improvements are pretty much negligible.
>>12136067no I'm a lazy fatass because I buy squeez cheez
>>12137681Good reason tbf
>>12135307I used Wii it worked fine
>>12135424>pretending TP's character models don't just look like deformed shit anyway
Link's animation in this game is fucked up and you have to see it yourself.I want to say it has something to do with being built on the same engine as Wind Waker and the way that game handled animation doesn't work with characters proportioned like this game's.
Which version runs better on Dolphin? Performance is at a premium here.
Link is left-handed
>>12139641LinkHe come to townHe is a leftoidDoesn't buy my store's stock
>>12139641This. The Wii version and Nintendo's weird-ass decision to mirror the camera so that Link is right-handed to match the right-handed people playing the game permanently ruined Link. They never switched back, and to this day, even in stuff like BoTW, he's still right-handed.
>>12139663It tracks as a metaphor for degradation of exceptionability>Link becomes right-handed like lowest common denominator, games become soulless crapI believe the board of /tv/ would call this "kino", but I prefer ludo
>>12136105and her
>>12135307gamecube hands down. I liked the WiiU version when it released (still a good way to play) but it really does look like shit compared to the gamecube ver. even with the higher resolution. the lack of an extra item slot didn't really impact the game much outside of the second temple.
Anyone recommend the switch version?
>>12140147There's no Switch version?Though there *is* a Switch version of The Wind Waker thanks to GameCube Classics, which probably means the Wii U version will be memory-holed. Almost better if it had Tingle Tuner support.
>>12140204emulation does not count as a version
>>12140502As far as I know, GameCube Classics isn't straight emulation... It's partial porting akin to what they did with 3D All-Stars and Switch Mario Galaxy.
>>12140571its emulation. regardless of whatever technical means they may use to get to that point, it's an emulation of the original game meant to recreate the original experience, nothings updated, nothings added, huds the same as the original release
>>12135501This is the correct answer.
>>12141364filtered
Link is meant to be left handed and they can go fuck themselves with changing it. Gamecube version.
>>12135307If original hardware, the Wii version is much easier to get. Otherwise GC has camera control. Game still sucks whatever the system.>>12135332>I assume this game is just more of the sameTP is a game that's painfully bloated with nonsense, that's on top of everything wrong with OoT in the first place. Still, they allow you to skip cutscenes this time around, thank god for that.
>>12135307Gamecube cause Link is canonically left-handed!!!
>Championing Link being left-handedBased>Championing Link being a brunetteCringe
I replay this game on a cube emu about once every 4 years.Imho, of the Legend of Zelda game series, it is the best one at being a LoZ game. Link's Awakening set a template that works really well and was followed in OoT, MM, Oracles, Minish Chap, WW, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Toilet Princess, and Skyward turd.Of these, TP(cube) is by far the most polished and the best looking, but without any stupid gimmicks, like the PiiMote. If I wanna open roam, I play Skyrim. If I wanna be challenged, I'd play Dark SoulsIf I wanted weird gimmicks, I'd buy a VR set.If I want to play Legend of Zelda, I play Twilight Princess.
