>>12159482The Mega Buster in MM 4 is a good idea but the game tries to rebalance the difficulty by cranking up the HP of all the enemies and it kind of kills the flow. A fully charged shot doesn't feel powerful like it does in later games. It also does that annoying thing where the passwords only take you halfway through the game (sort of a moot point nowadays but you know what I mean). It's more polished than the first 3 games but it also feels like it's going through the motions.
