Are these games really the superior action platformers on SNES and Genesis to MegaMan X and Shinobi 3? Did Konami really outdo Capcom and Sega?I never played these games but might
skip 4 its not good at all and you dont need to play it, youre not missing anything, thats for sure

>>12157121bloodlines is pretty bland despite having some cool mechanics but its sequel might be the best castlevania game, it's not an action game though. 4's pretty solid, not perfect but it's consistently decent except for one level. i'd say if you want another one with it play rondo of blood, that game's great.

The Mega Man X games are garbage but so is CV4 so it's a tossup as to which is better. Bloodlines is better than those but Shinobi 3 is probably slightly better than Bloodlines. Rondo is the better Castlevania of that gen.
