I think all three parts are great. Your weapons are finally upgraded so the island feels like a victory lap.

Castle is my favorite part of the game. It's just huge with lots of great set pieces. If it actually existed in real life, it would be a modern wonder of the world.

I made a thread a while back deriding this game as a RE killer. Secretly I always thought it was cool, and being bored this autumn season I decided to give it a go. RE4 is a lot funner than it already looks, and immediately addicting. Surprisingly fits in with previous RE games, but as an evolution. Unfortunately capcom was fucking retarded or used black magic and couldn't replicate their success with 5 or 6 apparently (i guess 5 is great coop, looks pretty fun).

Castle is fun. After castle is fun. Re4 is a resident evil game. It deserves all its praise. same people who hate it also hate hl2. they're gay, ugly and stupid.
