>>12160734Because the "SNES identity" is Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, and basically nothing else. The only other SNES games anyone cares about are Mega Man X and maybe a SquareSoft JRPG. This lineup is mostly the same to the N64, GameCube, and basically all Nintendo consoles up to today. As a result, the SNES ends up feeling like any other generic Nintendo console.
