Guys, hear me out on this cuz I know this is gonna sound like I wear a tin foil hat but this just makes too much sense. Remember that internationally wanted warcriminal Big Boss? Next to nothing was known about his past, including his full name, and it was widely rumored he was an ex-CIA agent. So Big Boss dies and soon afterwards George Sears makes a run for President and gets elected. There was a brief scandal alleging that some of his early life documents were forged, but nothing came of it. But the strange thing is that Sears and Big Boss are almost identical looking, as if they were brothers or something. I'm thinking that Big Boss faked his death, and created a new identity and ran for President. One guy vanishes, the other surfaces with shady background? Come on, do they think we're fools?
>>12165059Knowing how Solidus loves to hear himself talk, he would've revealed this truth at the end before fighting Raiden in New York.He did it with Olga and Raiden in Arsenal Colon, to Ocelot in Shell 1 Core, to Snake and Raiden at the Shell 1-2 connecting bridge, and to everyone on top of Arsenal Gear. You can go even crazier and have patriots revive BB after MG2, like Gray Fox, or have the Patriots grabbed his body like Anakin at the end of Episode 3 (lol), and then do what Big Boss did to V. Brainwash him into thinking he did x and y, in this case a control a child army, and 'mentoring' Raiden.Have Raiden think they both had a history and lie to both of them as revenge for going against Zero/Patriots, and never tell them both of them were living a lie on top of a lie. It's more modern kojima wackiness than classic kojima wackiness, but it works better than what 2 and 4 did with Solidus, Raiden, BB and Zero at the end of both games. It's also darker, which fits with 4's original ending.
THEY GOT MY EYE
>>12165059Big boss is still alive by the time solidus dies. Big boss dies in MGS4 because of the Foxdie virus.
>>12165059Yes. This was obvious to everyone with a brain.
>>12167368>>12167158>>12165121>t. dumbasses who don't understand OP is roleplaying as a civilian/low level grunt in-universe and not as someone who played mgs2 irli hate how poor reading comprehension has become.
>>12167425Normal people would only get brief glimses of the reality, and in truth, Big Boss becoming George Sears is LESS crazy than what actually happened.

>>121674254channers don't know how to rp any more
>>12165059That was unironically Kojima's intention though, shitposting aside. Solidus' and Raiden's relationship mimics that of Snake and Big Boss', as the whole point was to showcase that memetic information can be reproduced in the S3 program from all angles, including personal ones. You can condition just anyone if you perfectly design their response and behaviour with the proper stimulus. Likewise, you, the player, will seek to kill Solidus (despite the implication being that you're losing that battle due to the lack of free will) just as Snake did to Big Boss out of hatred and repression of what those characters embody (psychopath warmongers that will use and sacrifice children to advance their purposes).
>>12167425I did, I just didn't play along and posted my thoughts. >>12165121
>>12166748I'll drown you fools for interfering!
>>12165121I don't think that works, sorry anon. You're thinking in terms of>Wouldn't that be cool?instead of>Wouldn't that be good? And saying "it's darker which fits 4's original ending," the current ending is perfect.>Forget about us. Live for yourself. >This is good, isn't it?Snake's done, and he's going to live for himself. That's what we all should be doing.
Good president but is it true he had some weird fetish thing for cardboard boxes?
Or was he George Soros all along?
>>12165059You're fucking crazy dude.
>>12169850Sears looked like a golden boy, but I talked to someone who went to his high school and get this. NO ONE can remember this guy. While he was getting straight As and according to their yearbook was part of several clubs and sports teams, but I couldn't find a single person who remembered him. Sound kinda strange? Almost like his history was constructed. But for what reason?
