IW had really great graphics at the time, it's a shame that the loading screens are so numerous but it's a good game with some solid DE nods while being different enough to stand on its own. I like it more than the games that came afterwards. It's available for PC if the loading screens get to you.

same, i get accused of trolling for saying so but despite the later games being technically better they still felt more boring

if you use the visible upgrade mod on pc it speeds up loading times a bit. they're still there but it's not quite as bad.

the demo sucked but the cover was the ultimate red flag

i found it enjoyable. big downside is the "universal ammo" makes the game kinda simple and easy if you choose the right upgrades.
