Do we have any news of anyone from the original Castlevania team??
As far as I know, the IV team were the only other team who were in direct contact with the NES team. Then, the IV team mentored the Bloodlines team, but as far as information goes, that's about as much as the original lineage goes. The Rondo/SotN team were all different people that had nothing to do with the OGs.
I know someone on Twitter claimed to be part of Akamatsu's team some time ago, and disclosed the whole "Curse of Man" lore bit, but then I never heard of anything else ever since. It seems Akamatsu is nowhere to be found.
