So... this is pretty much the best rpg on the Playstation, right? I mean aside from the grammatically poor translation, Pokemon voice acting, maze-like dungeons and unexplained mechanics. The time limit and constant pressure of training people to send to Valhalla, hard but fair battle system, platforming, and chapter based gameplay loop are a lot more engaging than most other jrpg gameplay systems and the spritework and prerendered graphics are top notch.

No.Vandal Hearts 2 is.But VP is a pretty great game with amazing sprite work and unique gameplay.I feel is one of the best first time RPGs since its so short and the gameplay to the point.Only issue I can see is players needing a guide for the real end and tips on the good skills like surviving mortal attacks for some bosses.
