This is the best micro Hand Held ever created.A true artefact of the craft, a capricious little bugger that is truly pocketable, compact, discrete, elegant, and surprisingly functional for its almost gimmicky form-factor. To own one is a privilege. My very first one, and still my favourite. If you come across one for a fair price, or you can afford it at its current collectors prices, it is totally worth it. You will be surprised how sturdy it feels on your hands. Also, no CFW shenanigans, only a launcher, no WIFI, no cheevos, just you and your games, off the grid. It truly feels retro. The last game I finished on Wall-E (RG280V) was SNES' Mother Perfect Edition (updated accurate script, with original Nippon character sprites and other curiosities). It feels cute and compact to play it, even if I had to wear glasses after a couple hours playing (this is MICRO territory).

>>12202724It is very comfy for GBA, WonderSwan, GBC, and other pocket handhelds emulation, specially while you can play RPGs with one hand. No problems at all. It does get a bit crampy (same cramps I get when browsing my smartphone for too long -the base of the pinky finger-) when I use both hands on more involved games, but only after 30 minutes or so, then I have to change hand positions for a minute, that is all. I have slight tired eyesight (start seeing double on far objects sometimes when I am tired, and one eye is slightly blurry with far objects) but it does not warrant to use glasses at all, it is slightly not perfect only, with these eyes it can get tiresome to play games with lots of small text such as PSX games with small typography, after about an hour, I will become aware of me scanning the screen actively instead of passively, after a couple hours without rest I will opt for reading glasses in order to zoom the screen (like a loupe). For a pocketable device to bring everywhere and play half an hour here and there while on the go, and then a couple hours straight at home it is perfect if you like small quaint devices and you have small-medium hands and good sight or wear your reading glasses. It is capricious a device, still dreadfully endearing and fidgety. I tell you, I own this, an RG35XX+ and a Miyoo Mini +, and this is still my favourite one (not the one I play the most, mind you, but my favorite one, as an artefact in and of itself)

The pinnacle of budget gaming in my estimation.The Brick is like a smaller GameBoy Pocket, really nice and portable without being too tiny. 3.2 inch screen, but higher resolution than the RGXX models. Great option if you want to have something that's really easy to take around with you.

Overall I'm really enjoying the Thor. The speakers are crap, but it's powerful, it looks good, and it feels fine in the hand (it's a little cramped, but if you're used to playing on a 3ds then that feels like home). All of my other issues with it come from it being an Android device.Especially the "frontend" situation; you really don't need one at all, but I do enjoy fiddling with themes and shit, so it's a real disappointment that seemingly every option is either closed-source with monetization or abandoned for years.
