Nice recs. Thank you.

WarioWare - Levels comprise of short, randomised mini-games followed by a boss.
Boktai - Cart has a solar sensor, used to charge the in-game gun, among other things.
DK: King of Swing - Uses the L/R buttons as DK's hands to cling, swing, climb, and throw.
Drill Dozer - Platformer where you can drill clockwise and anticlockwise. Kinda repetitive imo.
Rhythm Tengoku - Rhythm mini-games without the HUD. Followed by a WarioWare-style remix.
Yoshi's Universal Gravitation - Cart has a tilt sensor. Level mechanics built around tilting the GBA.

Spider-Man: Mysterio's Menace for me, purely for the novelty of being the 3rd title of the PS1 series by Neversoft and Vicarious Visions, even the sprites are clearly modeled by it, as a fan of the PS1 titles as a kid this felt like a discovery of something I missed out on, the 3rd installment the PS1 never got. It helps that it plays great too... best Spider-Man on GBA.

P.S. It's great to give MJ her fishbowl at the end and being rewarded by her.

Cheers. I tried Chain of Memories a few days ago. Interesting deck-building combat.
Tried Mega Man Battle Network afterwards, and I wonder if CoM was inspired by it.
Personally, not a fan of the JRPG-inspired separation of combat and exploration.
But both were unique games worth checking out.
>>12307229
ChuChu Rocket was very good. I liked Kurukuru Kururin too.
>>12308217
Playing as Spider-Man can be unique as he can sling from webs and climb any surface.
But this is nearly the 20th Spider-Man game, and you could do these things as early as Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin (1991).
>>
>>12307172
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories - Action RPG with a card-based battle system.
ChuChu Rocket - Puzzler where you direct mice away from cats and into escape rockets.
Kurukuru Kururin - Navigate mazes as a slowly spinning stick.
>>
>>12307172
Drill dozer is kino. You really need the real cart with the rumble pack to fully enjoy it. Makes a huge difference.

Wario Ware: Twisted used the tilt sensor before Yoshi's Universal Gravitation.

Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis
It's the only GBA game with player choice as a serious game mechanic and major consequences in the story based on the choices you made.
The level of character and party customization goes far beyond any other RPG available on the console. For example, you can sacrifice your party members and cast eldritch rituals to trap their souls within weapons that become the most powerful items in the game.
It's peak.

Gameplay-wise, this doesn't look very different from FFT or the original Tactics Ogre.
>>12309192
It's just a regular 2D platformer with some quirks (cling to walls, sonic ball).
>>
>>12309241
What does that even mean? By that same token, once you ignore the solar sensor, Boktai is like any other isometric action-RPG. Just play Legend of Zelda.
>>
>>12309192
I just finished this game recently and it’s shovelware trash

what OP is asking for is some help with his youtube channel. he needs at least 10 unique games for his next video

>Gives unique games
>NOT UNIQUE ENOUGH!!
>>
>>12309382
Good catch. Although with loading up an emulator library there are really so few good games for gba, and I got one at launch at it really sucked back then. If you like at the git depository for roms it’s thousands of junk literal shovel ware games.

If you take away games that are snes rereleases there’s probably 15 really great games. Even less that are “unique” its all branded platformer garbage

The e-reader was unique but no one had that in real life
>>
>>12309427
what he beeds is content bobody else has already created and that will be difficult at this point.
>>
not exactly super unique but this was one of my absolute favorite games on the GBA. Picrel
>>
>>12309293
I don't know any other game that uses real sunlight as a mechanic.
Sure, it's a gimmick. But maybe this lead to an interesting situation for someone.
Like they were fighting a difficult boss with a storm approaching, and only won by the skin of their teeth when the clouds parted.
You can't get that experience from any other game.
>>12309382
Feel free to make a youtube video. I'm just looking for games to play.

It's so frustrating that GameFreak can make good games, but they usually either don't seem to know wtf they are doing or release something just kinda meh.

Forget the name, but japs got some kinda pokemon snap rpg game where you take pictures of monsters.

Basically Paper Mario but you can collect and choose your attack minigames and lower or raise their difficulties. By increasing their difficulties you also increase the damage you deal with them.
>>
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest for the GBA.

It may be shovelware at first glance. But it is the closest we can have to a Metroidvania/Sailing Simulator. Coupled with the "Gossip" mechanic ( where you can pay a sum on every island to give you hints on where to find rumoured treasures ), it's a true Pirate simulator.

The Klonoa games on GBA are very good, where Klonoa on PS1 was traditionally a platformer with puzzle elements, the reverse is true with the GBA games. Very addictive.
>>

What is this "Oreimo"?
>>
>>12316161
Perhaps he meant the PSP visual novel.
>>
>>12316173
Despite being on PSP, what make this visual novel unique?
>>
>>12316176
Never played it.
Maybe it's rare to see a VN with dating elements on GBA?
Doubt it's unique when considering games on every platform.

Even the GBA had stuff like Love Hina Advance.

Astroboy the omega factor.
Levels are either shoot em ups or a 2d brawler. Find hidden characters to level up. After you play all the levels you do it all again but Astro has knowledge of the future and the events and even some level lay outs change because of this. You actually have to follow the story to resolve the plot and get to the true last levels.

Drill dozer! That's unique right? What? What's "Dig Dug"?

Gameplay is unique because of the airdash too. It plays kinda like Alien Soldier, and maybe you can comoare it to Sparkster too, but not too many other games similar.
It's also a masterpiece and my favorite 6th gen game (handheld or not)
>>

>Boktai

came to post this, requires natural sun light making it impossible to play for vampires and shut ins.
>>
>>12316856
>>12318609
Tried it a few days ago, but there were too many story interruptions for my liking.
>>
>>12319319
You can skip them, although not sure if on first play
