What are some of your favorite pinball games /vr/?
Recently I've been playing Revenge of the Gator and it's pretty damn good. I've been playing some of the pinball games for gameboy and this one is just a solid table

I haven't played much of Kirby pinball yet

Pokemon Pinball is amazing. It's 2 tables (red is harder than blue) and it's all about collecting the pokemon (obviously). The game overall is great but I've heard it's pretty much impossible to complete because mew is a troll catch or something

And finally we have Super Robot Pinball. Like Revenge of the gator it's one table but my god it's a good one. You play as a bunch of old 90s era mecha and fight bosses and stuff. Honestly the best of the bunch

I like the simplicity of NES Pinball.
But also Battle Pinball and Super Robot Pinball.
Pokemon Pinball and all the HAL pinball games are great.
And Necronomicon and Devil Crush.
There's many more though, Pinball Quest is also a must.
Then there's Odama.
I still need to try that Akira one on PS2

a couple I've never heard of, I'll check them out

the year is 1985. You have an 8-bit computer like C64 or Atari 800. See picrel. Your face when.

For me it's definitely Flipnix for PS2. Every table is absolutely insane and a bit of a journey to get through, absolutely nothing else like it. Second choice is Devil's Crush for TG16. Cool theming and really fun to play.

For me it's >>12587201 and Pinball Illusions

Oh, and how could I forget Pinball Mania!

Back in the late 90's we still had an older computer running DOS, we had made a start up menu for the computer with options like this
1) Pinball Fantasies
2) Pinball Mania
3) Pinball Illusions
4) Pipe Dreams
5) DOS

At some point it was basically a virtual pinball machine

Early 90's was really a great time for PC DOS/Win3.1 Pinball games. Pinball Fantasies, Pinball Illusions, Pinball Mania, Epic Pinball, Full Tilt Pinball(the Pinball game that came with Windows was one board from this game), and even TDK gave us TDK Pinball which was surprisingly good for a single board pinball game from a floppy disk manufacturer.
The Enigma board in Epic Pinball was one of my favorites, since it took full advantage of the fact it wasn't a physical board to do some stuff that would normally be impossible.

Kaze made some really good Pinball games. While not as fantastical as it is pretty close to the real thing, they just marry the technical simulation with a cool personality and style. Necronomicon was one of the best random bargain bin clearance finds for the Saturn: $5USD for a sealed new game I had way too much fun playing. It was so good, I explored their back catalog and loved those games almost as much. The devs don't do too much, but what they do, they do very well.

Had a good time replaying this one recently in Virtual Desktop. It has a cool credits screen, was nice to see my boy Kenji Yamamoto directed this in addition to doing the music.

This game has bad platforming, and bad ball physics... AND I STILL FUCKING LOVE IT! Why has this concept never been redone, but with good controls? Am I missing something?

I'm not big on pinball but I love Psycho Pinball on the MegaDrive.
>>
>>12587083
That was one of my first ever Game Boy games. I played it for hours.
>>
I loved the Addams Family pinball machine, so finally managing to emulate it in Visual Pinball was like stepping back in time.

Akira Psychoball is cool for a pinball game but shit for an Akira game. I think it was some weird promotional thing released for the 20th anniversary of the movie

That's probably the best one. That and >>12589996 despite the shitty platforming controls that always get me a gameover in the final stage. That stage is way too big, god damn.
>>
>>12592035
Well it's way cheaper than most gameboy games so might as well buy a copy
>>
>>12592031
You set Retroarch's VB core to output in Side-by-Side and then Virtual Desktop converts that to a 3D image.
>>
Devil Crash MD. It includes some of the most striking pixel art I've ever seen. I honestly feel bad for the SNES players that never had a chance to play it, but they did receive an exclusive Crush game called Jaki Crush, which was based on Japanese folklore.
>>
>>12592084
Ok that clears it up. Thx anon
>>
>>12592098
This. These Naxat pinball games are all great. Alien or Devil both good.
>>

>I haven't played much of Kirby pinball yet
I like Kirby Pinball, but IDK, I can never get Kirby to go back into the table by pressing "A" for some reason. He almost always dies

The Super Pinball games for SNES are fun and I love Pinball Of The Dead

I also have Pinball Hall Of Fame: The Williams Collection for my PS2, got really super good at it
