>Faxanadu, the pendant you get has the opposite effect of making your attack power lower due to a programming error, something that would've been immediately obvious to a playtester.
>Jagged Alliance 2 has a bug in the original release that crashes the game if the helicopter gets shot down (granted anyone would reload after losing the heli let's be honest), considering how easy it is to get shot down by SAM sites this should've been very obvious.
>Final Fantasy Legend's saw weapon got its crocodiles mixed up and it kills things with MORE strength than you instead of less, allowing easy instant kills.

If you played the updated version you didn't beat the game
>>
>>12591261
Going by this I'd guess Monster Party wasn't properly playtested considering the bug in the 7th level where beating every boss actually makes you lose the key.

This post would be funny if you wrote
>If you played the original version you didn't beat the game
but naturally you fucked the joke up.

He's right tho, you didn't beat the game unless you meet impossibly high standards. He's on point.

There’s a YouTube video where a guy hacks past the impossible gap to see what’s on the other side. He finds another impossible gap

Not a mod. But It is relatively easy to delete posts on 4chan. However, here is a time frame you have to do it in. If you wait to long the post becomes marked as 'too old'.

click the check mark box on the top of your posr. Look at the bottom of the page for the delete button

Original release of FF1 is a clear example. A large chunk of spells just do NOT work period. It's so bad, that patches that restore the proper functioning of the spells actually make the game easier, and Square themselves increased the HP of bosses in the PS1 remake to compensate for fixing the spells.

Might and Magic 2 is hilariously broken in many ways, but the most obvious example is the Endurance stat. It governs how much HP you gain with each level up. All stats are supposed to range from 0-255. Endurance does not. Once you go over about 160 endurance, it loops back around, causing your HP gains to drop back down to 1-2HP per level. This was never patched or fixed and is also present in console ports of the game.

Dragon Warrior 3 allows you to cause a memory corruption that will give the Hero a bunch of spells early, but it breaks him so he won't learn late-game spells at the usual levels for some reason. All you have to do is fill up the tavern with as many created characters as allowed. That's it.

The people who play-tested Sonic the Hedgehog clearly weren't very good at the game. If you are good and can keep running and going fast, eventually you go too fast for the game to keep up with. And if you go fast enough to go off camera, you die instantly. Sonic dies from going TOO FAST. Apparently some people even experienced this after going through two loops in a row in some rare instances.

Dungeon Siege crashes if you arrive to the first town leaving your teammate behind.

Marvel Alliance 2 for the PS2 won't let you leave the first stage if you save the game at the very first checkpoint.

In Ghostbusters you can sell your equipment at a higher price that you can buy it.

I can't remember which Painkiller game, but one boss spawns under the water and it's immediately killed without you even being able to see it.

It requires a little bit of trickery, but you can get yourself a Shadow-only party in the World of Balance in FF6, and when the script triggers for him to randomly leave, you get left in a soft-locked state where you can't move around or do anything since you have a party of 0 but no one died so the game doesn't know what to do.

Flying backwards in the SMS port of Choplifter breaks the enemy AI spawns in hilarious ways since the camera shifts to the other side of the screen when you fly backwards. It makes the game much much easier, especially on the cave level since it makes the volcano's shoot after you fly past them.

>FF1
Skill issue
>Might and Magic 2
Skill issue
>Dragon Warrior 3
I'll give you a mulligan on that one
>Sonic 1
You only die if you jump while offscreen, the game can't figure out where it's supposed to place you when you land so it flags it as a death. Just stop moving it'll fix itself.

>Dungeon Siege
Bullshit, I've gotten to the first town on multiple runs without the first party member the game tries to force on you.
>>
>>12591212
If we're talking about softlocks, then Beavis and Butthead for Sega Genesis. If you collect and spend all your available money sources before buying a ticket to get into the drive-in theater, you're stuck with no other options to proceed.

Then maybe only happens on the Steam version, but it's true.

Is it worth it? Which spells does he learn?
