In case you missed it the Konkr Pocket Block was officially announced. Specs currently unknown
love how tiny she is but these colors are hideous. hoping for an all black modelim all for devices this small with more power than the current budget handhelds in the market
I want to roleplay my fantasy of carrying Porygon with me through every Pokemon game and region. How can I do that on a r36s?
they ever fix the clicky buttons on the anbernic gb sp?
>>12591482Start gameExtract saveEdit charmander/chikorita/mudkip/etc into porygon with pkhexInsert save???Profit!
>>12591513Thanks.
>>12591282*is the best emulation device in your path*
Got my RP4P faster than expected. Didn't apply the screen protector well though so I'll have to try again at a better time than tonight, don't have microfiber cloth on-hand immediately to tackle some things. It's neat so far, Gambatte RA and PPSSPP standalone have no input lag I'm feeling so far compared to my phone, but I've only tried a tiny handful of games. Just gotta hunt down standalone emulators more and then find a good MicroSD card to load this thing up as a PSP alternative with lots of older handheld stuff on there. Biggest gripe so far besides a lack of ergo for stick centered games as I'd heard, is how much touchscreen is necessary. And a phone stylus I have doesn't work for whatever reason.
Ayn thor
>>12591592I'm sorry, but anyone who says the thor is too heavy..... is a WIMP FAGGOT HAHAHAHAHAHAProbably good for you to get SOMEWHAT of a workout if this thing is heavy for you LMFAO
still the best
>>12591683Hate that retarded trigger position. What brick handheld has the triggers in the classic PS2 triggers position?
Was about to pull the trigger on a trimui smart pro s until I found out it has very clicky buttons which sucks and would get me kicked out of bed.Anything else up to roughly €100 that would be great for stuff up to N64 (and maybe PSP) and isn't too noisy? This would be my first retro emulation handheld.
>>12591683>no blue buttondishonest pic
What's the best controller? 8bitdo or Gamesir?
>>12591763Gamesir feel cheaper but have better longevity. 8bitdo look and seem fancy but they're regularly prone to quality issues and easy breaks. The highest quality of the Gamesir still kinda beats the pants off of 8bitdo's best for overall functionality, but people will swear by 8bitdo for looking simple and effective at the same premium.
>replaceable batteryNothing seems to come close for some reason, why?
Is there a good way to transfer files to my odin over wifi?
>>12591286>ai dogshit????????>>12591569>expensive overpriced windows dogshit???????????
>>12591763if you care about dpads do not buy 8bitdogamesir has nice dpads>>12591745RG476H
>>12591745I love my pocket air mini for that and the buttons are silent but people complain about screen ghosting but it's never bothered me
>>12591839what are you talking about?
>>12591802>noooo I can't unplug a battery, save me
>>12591875what are you so upset about?
>>12591907your lack of technical ability?
Clam shells are gay
>>12591975Kind of agree. A dual screen device like the Thor isn’t at all appealing to me. One big OLED screen is all I need.
>>12591914what makes you think i lack technical ability?
>>12591875>defending a flawed design from smartphonesI still use a laptop with replaceable battery. Why? Because I can charge a couple of them and still use the device when one of them runs out of juice.
>>12591571I settled for an RP5 but really wanted a G2 since it’s twice as powerful for what was the same price as the 5 until they discontinued it only like four months in.
>>12591975No, their Bi-Fold Clamshell ™..
>>12592008They're*
>>12591982because you can't open a handheld and unplug a battery, dumbass
>>12591975I wouldn't say that, but they're one of the shittier designs since they're often the least comfortable to use. Any non-comfortable handheld only makes sense buying if you're playing low-input games like Pokemon.
Threadly note that the Trimui Model S with MinUI is better than it has any right to be, specifically when setting it up as a dedicated GB/GBC/GG machine. Unfortunately, it's far too overpriced nowadays. I bought mine for 25 yurobux last July, it's about twice as much currently.
>>12592049what gave you that impression?
>>12591837I do it with my thor. It's somewhat slow, but you can do it with filezilla and an ftp server on your device. Retropup, or whatever his name is, did a youtube vid on the thorhttps://youtu.be/kGBaiXcXwkI?si=_pWC74WHrDvaoZNv
>>12591837>>12592180just install localsend on your pc and on your handheld, drag and drop
Can't decide whether to buy the R4Pro since its on sale or the RPC, the button layout of the rpc is a bit strange though
>>12592230r4pro is a primary handheld, rpc is suplementary with more specific use cases. do you already have a primary handheld you intend on sticking to? get the rpc. do you not have a primary handheld/intend to upgrade your primary handheld? get the r4pro
>>12591282My 3DSxl hinge broke and now I can't play any of the games comfortably on it anymore. Should I just buy a flat 2DS or is there a suitable handheld hardware that works better than a 2DS from ebay that i'll just mod myself?
>>12592147>what gave you that impression?
>>12591569Personally I think the Legion Go 1 is more than enough for emulation needs. Hell you can even use the Go 2 controllers with it.
>>12591592>>12591594Thor has shit ergonomics
Thorbros, I love Cocoon but it's such a battery drainer. Any recommendations for lowering its battery usage or just an outright less battery intensive frontend that's still good?
>>12592392I don't see how this is an issue since you'd spend little time on the menu before launching a game
>>12592401When looking at battery usage stats, Cocoon is always equal to my screen-on time. Which means it's constantly running in the background while I'm playing games.
>>12592404I see. I guess I didn't notice any fast draining on my Thor with it but I also haven't been playing the more demanding stuff
You never need 6 buttons. 4 is enough.
>>12592440dumb post
>>12592326so you're upset for no reason then?
Is there a retro handheld that is simple enough for a child to use? I like my 35xxh, but I don't think a kid can manage it.
>>12592296I hated the 2DS slab. It would be cheaper to buy an Ayn Thor than a replacement 3DS.
>>12592440Are you sure you want to play saturn that way?
