How do frontend emulators gather all there information for games? I'm currently working on my own and I truly don't get where they're getting the information from, especially when it's all so fragmented over the internet.
>>12736303not sure what you mean by information, but mobygames is a good sourcealso, please don't shit out yet another worthless vibecoded frontend into the world
>>12736307It's just for me. Don't plan to share it. It just seems like they autoparse information, yet it's like.. Redump has this, PSXDatacenter has that, IGDB lacks things the other have, and viceversa

Launchbox has its own games database that any user can contribute to.https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/
>>12736316Interesting. Had no idea.
>>12736351It's loaded up with a bunch of random romhacks and shit, but it does more strict title matching in the program than on the site, so if you have "Ocarina of Time" as your game, it won't suggest a bunch of romhacks. You can download LB and mess with that end of it, at least.
