Christ, the mentions of sex and attraction in the new-new romances are even more cringeworthy than that scene with Cleo in Congo writing-wise. Maria does have decent character development and great chemistry with MC, however, and German chapter was a joy. Remy is... tolerable, surprisingly. Aside from absolutely cringeworthy comments if you call him.
To be honest, in the new LI comparison it'd probably be Maria > blank space > Remy > piss > shite > Amazonian. That romantic pass just ruined any of potential charisma. Remy's just a slut whom MC, weirdly enough, is trying to train in romantic loyalty and it's mandatory for romance progression. But he's a fun slut, all things considered.
Remy also asks if MC got any nazi uniforms on his way out for roleplay purposes. This blasé way of approaching the issue is actually a high point all things considered compared to mostly everyone else.
