>How do you want your game to look like bro?>Just give me zero contrast; I want the characters to fuse with the environment, also make it real dark but layered so you don't know which level your character is on.>Sure thing boss. Anything else you want?>NU XCOM UI JUST TEAL MY SHIT UP AND MAKE SURE EACH CHARACTER HAS A TEAL OUTLINE LIKE THEY'RE SHILLING A YOUTUBE VIDEO. AAAH! AAAARGH!
>>3648340Looks pretty good. Wonder how it's on the story's front. If that's decent, I may give it a go.
>>3648340>had good momentum with dungeon rats and age of decadence>ruin it to make a preachy depressed dialogue simulator with bad combatWhat is wrong with slavs? Is this really what they wanted to ultimately make?
>>3648353that's where they almost always gravitate to naturally, yes. i wonder if it's because their spirits are just broken from all the buttfucking they've endured over the generations.
>>3648353>slavsRent free
>>3648369Vince is literally a pro-soviet Russian expat
>>3648359Serbian and Russian mentality is nothing alike. Styg is textbook example of a designer obsessed with checks and balances; basically if Sawyer was a STEMfag. (and wasn't a faggot)
>>3648381Sawyer would never design a system as stupid as underrail
>>3648350It's just "everything is shit, nothing matters, do the main quest because... because you just have to, okay?!" If the system alone isn't enough to keep you entertained, the story isn't going to save it for you.
>>3648385Shame, then. Thanks for letting me know.
>>3648340>the faggot posts a screenshot of an alpha from 3 years ago>>3648350It's decent. I liked it, personally, did not regretted buying it. The worst thing about it is that it feels unfinished and bare-bones in places, especially close to the ending. There's an anniversary update planned for November that will improve it.
>>3648422>did not regret*I'm drunk.
Thought of giving it another shot but it seems there will be an update on Nov 9th.
>>3648369i made him mad in another thread and it makes me feel good desu senpai
>>3648340Looks fine to me, characters need outlines but other than that its good
>>3648353>age of decadence>preachy depressed dialogue simulator with bad combat
>>3648463no, it's p. bad.
>>3648517Combat was quite good and showed how Fallout 1's combat could be improved.
>>3648359An extremely Slavic philosophy
>>3648584slavs are cuckolds?
>>3648340>first chapter feels like a comfy content rich rpg>2nd chapter is a railorad>3rd chapter is 3 rushed areas with a few obligatory faction quests sprinkled on top>3rd chapter is so funneled, if you didnt pick the prerequisite optimum builds you just loseYou could really tell they spent 7 years refining the early access demo and fumbled the rest like an afterthought.
>>3648815Isn't that every game nowadays?
>>3648815>>3648824*Just have to appear as a playable and mildly entertaining game for 2 hours to bar refunds
>>3648585Textbook cuckolds, actually.
>>3648581>Combat was quite goodThat's a funny joke.
>>3648340Nice portraits though
>>3648369Vault Dweller is an actual Russian who migrated to Canada if my memory is correct
>>3648948I liked the verticality of the maps. That actually felt like innovation although I'm on the fence about practicality. Maybe if they make a game that switches isometric and first person view.
I played it for a bit then I got to combat and had 40 percent chance to hit with a shotgun from close range with dex / per favored character that tagged shotgun skill so I quit Also double tap from shotgun does less cumulative damage than a knoife and random burst from a machine gun sprays more people than a shotty Also enemies are immune to pistol shot when they stand right next to youwhat a shitshow
Is this a good game? I played AoD multiple times, but can't get this game past the prolog. Not even sure why.
>>3649139yes, it's the best generation ship rpg ever made and any inability to play it is simply your own personal weakness.
