>Companions romance each other if you don't romance either of themWhy don't more games do this?
>>3650928Cucked
>>3650932Brainrot
>>3650928player romances are already boring enough, watching companion romances is even more mindnumbing.
>>3650928Because NPCs do not deserve dev's man-hours put into their romance more than the player's romance.Gameplay > romance anyway.Unless it's a JRPG where it's stupid to have any expectations for the gameplay to begin with.
I have no interest in seeing other people happy.
>>3650935Just say as it is: RPG games are built to ego stroke the player>>3650937kek
>>3650928all cute girls are mine
>>3650941it's not really about ego stroking, it's about development costs being customer centric. if you are spending resources making content less players will see or care about or want to engage with, you are basically wasting funds. this is why they don't like to make too many alternative paths in games either.
>>3650928i got definitive edition of this game, never played it tho. give me some tips for first build to be interesting to play
>>3650928From BW's other games, Aerie and Haer'Dalis get in a romance, Isabela and Fenris, Iron Bull and Dorian and maybe Leliana and Zevran, I don't remember.I cringed at myself at knowing this but it comes with playing these games but still video game romances are extremely cringe
>>3650928because the average player does not want real npcs, they want npcs that do nothing but suck off the player and get angry if they go for someone else
>>3650928NPCS are only allowed to exist to suck off the MC self insert. Whenever they do anything that shows they have any real agency or goals beyond that the retards who self insert get mad.
>>3651016anon, non self-insert romances are incredibly popular in a variety of mediums, though some people self-insert into anything because they lack a personality of their own, but people love to cheer if you make the npcs actually likable. this is just outside the abilities of most rpg devs. stop hating the player, hate the creator.
>>3650955are there even builds in this shit? anyways just go for a vanguard with reave i guess
>>3650955Engineer is a good class if you want to do all the interactables and not worry too much about what skills your companions have. Decryption, Hacking and Electronics covers everything. Pistols are also a really good weapon, basically like a smaller sniper rifle thats easier to handle.Otherwise, Soldier is an interesting pick since you'll br one of two characters that wear heavy armor, the other being ashley who most people tend not to like... unless you're red pilled, in which case she is super based.Vanguard is also a very strong class, but that's Wrex, and he's the coolest character in the game, so you may not want to do it for some variety.
>muh cucking>muh self-insertfire emblem has lived and thrived on playing matchmaker thoughever
>>3650955>>3651219cont.figured i should probably say that Tali is an engineer too and a lot of people like her as a character and would want to bring her along, so she could do all of that stuff too, but then she kind of sucks as a combat character. so even if you do play engineer and still want to bring tali, you can at least do all that and make up for it with good aim, and build her specifically for doing damage. she makes a pretty good tech wizard.
>>3650928Incels see couples getting together in their video games and freak out even when it's characters they spurned.
>>3651337thank u
>>3651918npAdept, Infiltrator and Sentinel are just "eh" imo. Never found the biotic stuff all that interesting in ME1, so adept and sentinel are best left to party members. Liara is a fan favorite, by Kaiden is pretty boring... so that makes sentinel the most boring class and companion character. Infiltrator is your typical munchkin kill everything from far away so the game is piss easy kind of thing. Fun, but, I prefer to be closer to the combat.
>zoomers never played BG2>they never got cucked by Haer'DalisMy blood was boiling at that point.
>>3654210i don't remember who i romanced first in bg2. maybe viconia because she's a slut. i never liked bards in BG1/2, so i never recruited haer'dalis and subsequently never had him try to steal my girl, in which case i probably would have murdered him because i never liked him to begin with.
>>3650955classes don't matter very much in me1. they affect your player character more in 2 and 3.
>>3654210aerie is annoying he can have her.
>>3650928Edwin tries and uhh a semi recent example to companions in pathfinder kingmaker are together and you can split them up or join in for a threesome
>>3650928>have to wait 2 years for the pilgrimage chapter 2 to have decent amount of content
>>3650928Because of retards like this>>3650932Self insert fags get absolutely nutty if a potential waifu, whom you reject, might even say so much as hello to another character.
