I just started playing this with my friends after we beat BG3. I feel like I have a lot more freedom in combat in Divinity 2 than in BG3. It's really fun so far. Respeccing for free basically whenever you want seems too strong though.What did you think about this game? What's (are) your favourite build(s)? I'm currently playing a suicide bomber red prince. It's fun. I've only died twice so far.

I like to play with a custom party of 4, the companions are all shit. Many such cases.Hybrid party of mixed phys and mag damage is the way to go. Flexible and powerful.Lone wolf is pretty busted. For a second playthrough consider soloing or a duo (a la dos1) with it on.I like a party with a paladin leader, a warfare/water/earth cleric, an archer, and a fire/air mage.Remember that you can reject all of the source masters and beat the game.

>>3887038Personally, I just like going hard into battlefield condition alteration. Granted, 9/10 times this just means everything lights on fire, but, eh.Only real complaint, is that the Torturer quirk is too good/should just be how the game works, if it's in the game at all.
