Can the TFR devs make it so NATO doctrine isn't so meta?I would pick CSTO or the other one (I cant even fucking remember now that I closed the game) but in every situation NATO doctrine is literally just the best.Since Mechanized + Tanks are so strong, line infantry/militia/special forces + artillery are so weak, there is no point in bothering with anything but moto+mech+MBTs unless your country doesn't have a lot of factories.And further, tanks are crazy inexpensive relative to the industry and production buffs you get in most countries which exaggerates this problem. Right now you can just use an okay Gen 2 tank design in a mixed Mechanized and MBT template and you never have to worry about it being out-classed by a Gen 3 tank since they are too close in stats. Better tanks and better tank parts should be expensive but scale better equivalent to the cost so there is still a reason to spam bad tanks for fill but make better tanks so you can beat the shit ones. Maybe even add more armor and engine upgrades so there is more of a gap between the starter tanks and the end game tanks.Mechanized is also too good for the cost. It's like a maxxed out light tank for half the cost. Light Mechanized has almost no difference in stats compared to Mechanized too, almost totally redundant.Special Forces are not strong enough by themselves and no doctrine really gives them the power they should have. It's a shame because the vanilla SF trees aren't visible but there needs to be a replacement for it otherwise SF is irrelevant.NATO doctrine wins right now because it gives the best buffs relevant to the ideal army composition and templates (which in most cases you start with).
