He was no longer on the content grind like back in Luxiem. He didn't go out of his way to network with other people or do fun events. He'd frequently take breaks and not show up to scheduled streams. There really wasn't much to look forward to because his experience in Niji took a toll on him and killed his flame. The platform changed. The model changed. The drive disappeared. The fun interactions he had with friends were gone. The VShojo audience would not choose to watch him over Michi or the other girls who stream at the same time as him. All of these things contributed to where he is now.

Aethel would have been a good addition unlike Quinn who has an abrasive personality. Another large male EN indie vtuber is Kenji, but he wouldn't really fit in with the group unlike Kuro, Aethel, or Shoto.
