MGS is taking her long because of how many games there are, considering she wants to stream spinoffs like Acid and Ghost Babel as well as NES games and so on. The nepohire things kinda fall apart when you actually delve into it.
According to Petra at one point, nobody actually knew who was going to be in what wave. Up until the teaser dropped with the 3 members of Lazulight. By then Pomu and Rosemi had both gotten in and both had ties to Elira which means somehow she applied, had no clue what wave she was going to be in, and still managed to nepohire two other people.....?
Of course you also have the fact that Selen and finana ran in similar enough circles to both be a part of major collabs with indie vtubers and know each other to a certain extent or at least of each other before joining.
Then you have ethyria, Enna and Millie knew Elira but Reimu didn't. Reimu knew Millie and Enna only by name but never had interacted with either, the one person she did know was Petra.
Nina of course didn't know anyone but she was a political chuuba who admitted to donning a vtuber model because it was easy.
We don't have exact numbers for the amount of people who applied for ethyria but keep in mind the auditions went out literally a month after Lazulight debuted and ended less than a month after they started. Meaning that the chances of thousands of people auditioning were pretty slim. The male auditions happened at the same time and at the time many people didn't even think male vtubers could be successful.
In Luxiem, tho, Mysta was actually more likely to collab with Mint than he was Nova. Luca didn't seem to know anyone but at one point in time met finana, Ike was literally friends with reimu, vox was a nobody who did undertale dubs and such and of course shu was a major simp who literally dedicated a love song to Elira on her graduation. There was 0 chance he was gonna stay indie when they announced male auditions.
Out of noctyx the only person with any ties to Elira was Uki but Uki also had a lot of ties to Pomu and I think he even knew rosemi.
Then once nijien blew up in popularity, suddenly they got thousands of talented people applying and we got iluna, xsoleil and krisis which all didn't feature any members who were known by any of the existing livers previously outside of Kotoka who was known by reimu.
It wasn't until viewership started to crater that Claude got in and denauth once again featured nobody that was known.

Obviously. Nepotism rrats are revisionist history to what the 2021 en indie scene was like. Also people forget that Millie was pretty well known for an indie at that time and it's not surprising she would get in. A lot of the indies and even utaites were at least familiar with each other.
The clique thing is also annoying. Friend groups aren't exactly a circle, more like a web of connections. It's also pretty well known that Mint was on good terms with several in Hanamori.
Sometimes, I wish to return to simpler times of classic hanamori and friends and a smaller indie scene. Although, I'm glad Lazulight brought Finana closer to them too.

People really forget Selen was the girl with the most shit in the branch, she got 4 or 5 new outfits even before Luxiem got their third. She was one the first people to get 3.0, she always got tons of shit given to her by management bu no one ever remembers that.

Gonna be real, dokis case looks great but it's kinda shit spec wise. It's a mid tower case that can only fit 2 full sized hdds and the black and yellow color scheme would be difficult to match with any sort of internal lighting colors that aren't black or yellow. As far as I can see there's no way to buy the case by itself either which means you have to pay $300 + shipping for the bundle.
If mint ever gets a case I think it'd be easier to match since it'd likely be white and could be matched with teal blues, greens and whites. I don't blame Doki for the choice of colors necessarily but it's one of the downfalls of her mostly black and yellow color scheme of her outfit

I used to watch Mint and Miki back in the days. They would collab together all the time especially in Phasmophobia but Miki never once talked to Nova outside of some big Among Us (I think Miki was invited because she was close not only to Mint but Artemis as well who was big back then). I never watched Finana back then so I can't say.
