Its not exactly clear how talking about her problems with Aster would exactly make them pity her more or want to send more money to her. The other problem is that she knew that if any information gets traced back to her, it would put her in the hotseat. Even knowing how bad her situation is, even knowing how menhera she is, she was self aware enough to know what she was doing was risky. Unless it was an actual problem, it seems like something she'd probably keep to herself beyond bringing it up for laughs, because from the leaks it became immediately obvious that the "mystery liver" was Twisty. That whole thing seems like a hail mary to get something done, otherwise its a lot of risk for little reward.
