Nobody cares about your ideology. Go back to whatever discord shithole you crawled out of. We just want cool papes.

That's the ttheme of some of these wallpapers, 60 or so of dreamy, anime-ish style without weeb themes. Nature and enclosed spaces.
>>
Solarpunk? More like trannypunk.

Solarpunk is really cool
for sure my favorite type of "punk"
>>
What is the difference between retrofuturism and solarpunk?
>>
>>7799471

retrofuturism tends to draw quite a lot more fascists
>>
>>7799471
Big focus on ecology and green spaces, less grounded in real life trends and into fantasy-like scenes.

Retrofuturism is based on a established real life style, ported to some specific point of time, e.g. the 40s showing how planes will look around the year 2000. Solarpunk gives the vibe it's set anywhere from decades to hundred of years into the future, with a big focus on sustainability. Places are the very opposite of cyberpunk's big, crowded cities full of pollution.

Haibane Renmei gives some solarpunk vibes, anyone?
>>
>>7796302
Master builder here, the reason these images all seem fantastical and cool is because the buildings in them wouldn't stand up in real life.

Even with supermaterials they're mostly just badly balanced designs.

It's just an architectural style, stop trying to shit up the thread with politics
>>
>>7796302
INCORRECT
>>
>>7796302
SOLARPUNK THREADS ARE ONLY POSSIBLE BY IGNORING POSTS LIKE THESE
>>
>>7796302
Maybe you think that we concern ourselves with the underlying politics of a solarpunk society, but we don't.
It doesn't even come up to mind. We look at the pictures and post them because they look sick. End of story.

>t. zoomer
>>
>>7803626
Not him but I wouldn't blame him for thinking that way due to how prevalent that stuff got pushed in schools like mine, yes looking after the environment is good but it's shitty how suddenly the average person is to blame for all these issues despite the comparatively low "carbon footprint" to the power hungry energy industry. shameless nuclear power fan here. (besides, there's always a balance between industrial strength and environmental caretaking, like seen in solarpunk coincidentally)
