I love this thread very comfy
>>7950097>moon in the foregroundmy flat earth senses are tinglinghow could this picture be real in the globe world?
>>7951242How is the moon in the foreground? I think you are mistaking compression artifacts for a mountainscape. Also the moon is huge because a telephoto lens was used to capture the image.
>>7951339also pic I took in Barcelona
OC
>>7949340there it is, my new pape
We need a comfy guide
>>7958003we need the oligarch to return and post some good papes
>>7958005No but really, we should make a comfy guide. How to make your home/room comfy. /fit/ used to have one, is was called "bachelor's pod" or something like that.
>>7958165there are too many different types of comfy itd be too difficulti think these are most important:- moody/warm lighting-dull/non vibrant colors-beds, couches, and other soft stuff-old patterned stuff (fabric)-potted plants-lamps-windowsput all of these in a room together and itll be at least a little comfy
>>7943247If you dont mind some AI fuckery
>>7944618Is that Judenplatz in Vienna?
>>7943246Damn, I got the exact same roof windows at home
>>7959674Correct! It's the view from Jordangasse.
I used to get chills and stronger feelings when looking at extremely beautiful pictures like the ones ITT. I no longer get that. I don't know if my medication killed it or if I just lost appreciation for beauty
>>7944621Cambridge, I assume.
>>7943247Oh, I live right next to that place
>>7944396I can't tell if the sign in the background takes a was or adds to the picture o.O it's weird, like I can't tell if it takes away from the almost surreal feel of the photo or if it's juuuust enough realism to break up the dreamy feel but tie it together at the same time... If that makes sense
>>7961211You're not alone anon. The feelings come back with time

>>7961224>>7964781That's the Gastown Steam Clock on the corner of Cambie Street and Water Street in Vancouver, which is near the Chinatown area of the city. The photo's likely from some time around mid-2019.

>>7944618>>7948308>>7958028Why do people associate snow and cold with "comfy" exactly? Now I can understand that these images function as an opposite reflection, it's the protection from cold, or just the beauty of it. But to me there's nothing comfy about that. Not even in the sense of warmth when it's cold and snowy outside.
>>7967783For me at least when it snows like that things tend to quiet down, and become a bit more peaceful. It's also means I get to wear my nice winter clothes, and on some days, it's just a good excuse to cozy up on the couch with some hot coco.
>>7958005wtf happened to him?
>>7967783Snow/rain makes staying inside a warm house even "comfier".
>>7943247I remember going to this park all the time as a kid when i lived in las vegas. It's called Desert Breeze.

>>7973071there's this tacit smugness about this pic. I think the reddit page implies that this dude snapped the pic to flex how comfy his high rise apartment was so he could get sweet upvotes.
>>7958204Hate how those records are being stored. Very comfy otherwise
>>7975772yoooo is that a power rangers sword
Anyone have anything with the vibe of like "empty places we hung out as teenagers"?Like, dimly lit parking lots at 10PM on an August night,Playing on the swings at the park with your first girlfriend in middle schoolParks at night barely illuminated by the carcinogenic glow of street lights
>>7978613This is in Wellington, New Zealand in case anyone is curious. We used to go to so many spots just like this. Sometimes we chatted the night away, other times we just enjoyed the silent ambience and each other's company. It was beautiful. Someone to love and care about, with whom you feel loved and cared for. It's 8:30am right now, and the sun has risen over Wellington. We've been graced with another beautiful day, but you're no longer here to see it...
>>7975772>that open window
>>7977182thats not too different from the what we are doing here, anon.
>>7961211try to get some real therapy and work towards reaching a point where you no longer have to be on your meds, anon. that feeling is tough to shake as long as you're on them. after two years working through my issues, i've finally been able to wean off of my SSRIs and let me tell you, it took two months without meds to get those feelings back. i hope you can reach a place where you don't need your meds anymore, but until then: best of luck, champ, keep going!

>>7967783I take comfort in my depression at some points. It's like the feeling one may have when they are sick with a head cold, almost like they are under water. The world becomes distant as you lay in bed, lucid but not quite there, you sink into your sheets as nothing seems to matter, you give into it, laying still, watching the sun crest the window sill. Depression is often construed as a cold feeling which it is, but the feeling isn't of being cold on the inside but being surrounded by it. You huddle around the fire that it has built for you, unable to move from it's warmth, unless you risk being bitten by the blizzard it has formed around you. This is romanticize a bit and doesn't cover the other aspects of depression but I think it's a good way to get a feeling of what apathy generated by depression feels like, ranging from not so bad to crushing. Depression sucks ass though, wouldn't recommend.
>>7981660Higher res of this
>>7983240The roof looks weird. Is this AI expanded?

>>7949918at least it was, till i fucked everything up
>>7951242If those artifacts in the background were mountains a flat earth still wouldn't explain this image. Round or flat it would only be explicable with the moon being very small (relative to its real size) and very close to the ground.
>>7977182The general smugness associated with reddit in general.

>>7958208been looking for this one for ages.thank you, anon.
>>7958184Too much grandma energyI can enjoy a clean wood surface or strong color, but the colors should match and preferably work with the decor. The most important thing should be a sense of calm and comfort. Personally, the boomer style of dull colors and old fabric is not my thing but:>windows>plants>moody lightingare where it's at for me, I would throw in wood too

Looking for advice. What color should i paint this room? Also feel free to offer advice on flooring. I was thinking wood flooring but I could do tile or something also.
