Requesting Stalinist, North Korean, or Italian Fascist architecture. Those in particular really fascinate me
>>7985868Is this honfleur? I live really close, go there all the time
>>7986189I really like fascist & national-socialist architecture despite being left wing myself, much more than the stalinist one.
>>7986251Well Facist architecture is minimalistic, properly rationed and build for eternity.Stalinist architecture is convoluted and overburdened
>>7987012There's nothing wrong with making architecture ornate. In fact making everything utilitarian devolved into the slop cities we have now
>>7986251Fascism and national-socialism are left-wing ideologies.
More Art Deco!!
>>7986251Pretty based. I'd call myself a fascist myself but I really enjoy Stalinist and DPRK architecture particularly. >>7987882Fascism can't really be put on a left/right scale. It has some from both sides
>>7987882Fascism is anti-liberal, anti-democratic, anti-egalitarian, really everything that is considered left-wing. National socialism has as much to do with socialism as java does to javascript

>>7990247>really everything that is considered left-wing.Communism, historically speaking, has been exactly what you just described. It opposes liberalism, it's anti democratic (at least in the liberal sense. Both fascist and communist regimes used things like workers councils to create a "dictatorshipof the proletariat" or "authoritarian democracy"), and was very obviously anti egalitarian. One is historically deemed "left" and another "right" when they really are more similar than most are willing to admit. I say this as someone who enjoys a bit on both sides actually
