I can't wait for autumn. This heat really gets on my nerves.I live on the Mediterranean coast, and either it burns down because of a fire, or it burns down on its own with no water under this fucking sun.I can't wait to feel the cold outside so I can go and take refuge somewhere warm, hear the rain drumming on the windows, and no more hearing those bitchys cicadas that annoy the hell out of us H24 because the temperature doesn't drop any more at night.And when i think it's going to only get worse and worse again. >>8004531>the green politicians get involved and cry because we're "deforesting" (aka clearing the undergrowth), they put pressure on us not to touch anything, and the following year everything goes up in flames.I believe Canada had similar issues some years back, where they kinda went from over-managing their forests to try to prevent all major wildfires - which plan was a bloody disaster that nearly killed large areas of forest forever because the forests rely on the big wildfires to keep the forest land healthy to encourage new growth; so the 'experts' switched to barely managing the forests at all to appease the greens and ecomentalists - which was an even worse disaster because by not clearing at least some of the leaf litter and other dead/fallen wood material from the forest floors, when some major wildfires eventually broke out the fires had so much excess fuel to burn they were much much larger and even more out of control than previously seen.It's the usual problem though, people think they can control everything, and the more they tinker the more things get out of control, so they then keep blaming Mother Nature for burning their houses and businesses down, or blowing/washing their houses away with wind and/or waves, or for shaking their house down to rubble, etc. etc. when really Mother Nature's just doing what she's always done and people are the ones continually putting themselves in harms way all for a nice scenic view and an idyllic lifestyle.
