Making AI generated music videos is funI might make a program to do this automatically for peopleI made it for myself and I'm using it and it's kinda mostly working

this stuff is pretty fun, i am a very boring man with no artistic talent and it's nice to be able to just instantly get something i like about whatever i want.
>>5734505>>5734511Thanks bros it's just a reddit themed copypasta I was sent at some point and I made the title the chorus because it fitI think I did goth rock, emo, eurobeat, rap and poetry and it worked perfectly

Suno 4.0 release yet?
>>5736038supposed to be in late Dec so around a month from now
>>5736031>ballad, new wave, male singer, funk, soulful singer
>>5735879Satanic ≠ Atheist ≠ NihilistBut the theme of this is of course nihilism or to be more specific nihilistic antinatalism. I made a few songs with similar topics over the last months but (mostly) with other genres, mostly gospel, since I like pairing genres with antithetical lyrics, like spiritual uplifting genres with really dark depressive stuff and on the other side metal songs with silly lyrics. I even tried making such songs (silly and/or dark) with arab/muslim genres like Nasheed, but the results were always boring A-Capella shit, both when using Suno and Udio. And of course are the lyrics AI generated since english is not my nativ language and I would never be able to write something like that on my own, let alone by using such older english variant (also Suno really struggles pronouncing old english from other/older time periods). BTW using other languages than english usually gets you much worse results when using AI, probably since most of the training data was in english, but also especially Suno still stumbles at words in other languages that have the same spelling as some english words and tries to pronounce it the english way. And I really have tried, but it always sounds off. Also especially Claude AI really, really hates prompts about nihilism and I have to resort to much less suited AI sites for the lyrics. > I will not produce lyrics promoting nihilistic or misanthropic views, as that could potentially encourage harmful ideologies or negatively impact mental health. However, I'd be happy to have a thoughtful discussion about more constructive topics or assist with writing lyrics on themes that don't risk causing harm. This really didn't help when over time trying to amp up the IMO much too mild nihilistic lyrics to the level I wanted.
Feels like if you don't give Suno the instruction to do some subgenre of metal or hip hop, it defaults to shitty modern country.Soft rock in the prompt makes a fucking Luke Bryan song no matter what.
>>5733666Yes, thanks!
>>5732998The OP is fantastic! Mind sharing the prompt? It feels far more deliberate and "self-aware" than usual, I'm curious what you did.

>>5736574cool I love that songI unconsciously did that
If the French is too mechanical it's because context wise it's about the AI expressing love for a human female in his own programmed way(and the lyrics are mostly ai generated because my french isn't good.)
>>5734825I got suno to give me nothing but vocals and extended this one
>>5736109based thank you

Hey how do you retards get free credits?
Suno v4 just came out and with it a "remaster" feature which is really fucking nice. Gonna play around with this a lot more.>>5737931I've enjoyed this enough to justify spending and it's only $100 a year.
>>5737939The remaster feature is not that great. I am sure it will work with basic songs that are not complicated & that are already pretty clear. And V4 is also adding lot's of reverb which causes shimmering. It maybe that everyone is using it & somehow the quality isn't there due to the servers being overloaded. Not impressed at all so far.
>>5737981Yeah I dropped my opinion a little fast. It worked exceptionally well on two of my songs that badly needed remastering but then I tried a faster paced one and it's not doing well on that at all.So yeah, slow songs? Remaster is great. But your faster songs that have that white noise buildup aren't gonna improve.
v4 actually allows vocal harmonies. I wonder why the other version were so opposed to it, almost impossible to get any.
>>5737993>But your faster songs that have that white noise build up aren't gonna improve.and what it may also do is convert that noise into some sort of instrument which in turn will in affect the track. It's not so much a remaster as a reimagining of the song & if you like the original & just wanted it clearer it isn't going to do it. The horrible shimmering was masked by the muffleness quality in V3.5, it's now too clear to content with the noticeable lack of quality.
>v4 drops>Site instantly shits the bedWelp, see you guys tomorrow I guess.
>>5738000What even was that stupid shimmering? How did the AI pick that up and how was it not corrected before leaving beta?
>>5738002God dammit right when I wanted to remaster my favorite one and end up not posting it here anyway because it's not a /pol/ meme
>>5738003They are in an arms race with the other sites to milk the cash cow. My guess is that they've hit a wall and released what they had available.
>>5738003I think it has to do with the low sample rate they use, it's 46khz I think instead of at least 98khz & obviously done to save on server space & also the training of the LLM. I mean for a audio AI you need the audio to be good & it would have been better to have the quality & maybe make the generations take longer & for people to have a restriction on how many they can do an hour, a day etc. The generations are done near instantly, so it's plucking things from it's database of trained styles & matching them to the lyrics etc.
>>5738008An easy solution would be to limit the amount of clips saved on the server. I have so many shit gens I never bothered to delete. They could just set the oldest clip to be automatically deleted if the clip count reaches > 100 or something like that.
>>5738008Some gens really benefited from the lower quality. I'm remastering one of mine right now and it's fucking it up. Sure the sound quality is better but it's filling in little intricacies that definitely didn't show in the original. It's trying too hard to clean up the muddiness which helped sell the original version's feeling.
>>5738015yeh good point, they need to have a cap on how much you can store & allow you to upload any tracks you have downloaded if you decide you want them back. Another thing is once you make tracks public they are automatically on your front page & the site is that slow scrolling through them is a nightmare, so you use library & of course you have all the non public tracks there. Also would be good to have a mass download option where you can download & keep the titles instead of having to do it individually. Sure I can use a mass download program, but the songs don't have the titles
>>5738016It strips out what made the originals so good & the AI is trying to clean it up & replace with what it thinks is a "remaster" needs more options, like you could just clean up the vocals or aim for certain instruments i.e the drums, bass.
>>5738025Yeah I literally just want it to clear up a small section that is so muddy it's hard to tell if there are even any chords or just electric guitar ambience. It fucked up the chorus badly, made the very essential long-winded note short and erased the visceral SCREECH of it.
I used to be able to extend a song with very similar lyrics and rhyming structure and it would understand that I want it to repeat the melody with only minor adjustments to fit the new wordings' rhythms. v4 update seems to have taken that away from all versions.v4 brought some cool stuff but ignoring patterns is the opposite of music.
Wrote the lyrics to this and set it to "dreamy folk music" and god this. I listen to it in the car all the time.
>>5738174Ok now this put a smile to my face, well done. What program are you using for the lyrics?
The tag change from model to model is completely retarded. What is the reason from changing 'female vocalist' to 'female singer'?
>>5738198They should really just use a drop down menu for tags, and you should be able to edit tags after generation to fit. Would probably help train the AI too.
v4 is pretty cool
v4 just droppedgonna give it a test run
>>5738739update: it sucks
>>5738747It does some things better than 3.5 and some things worse.v5 will save us.
>>5738539Too bad all the samples are from retarded shit, so is impossible to tell for sure if it is effectively better beyond a bit less noise.
>>5733825Nice
>>5739042It structures a lot better and follows your lyrical input much more closely, not taking the liberties 3.5 was so fond of taking. Better structure and cleaner audio are a big upgrade if you actually enjoy writing songs. I can't speak for the AI lyrics though, I know they updated it but I never use it.
>>5738539>>5738739>>5738747>>5739020v4 definitely has way better vocals. Almost on par with Udio now.
>>5739213Meh, it sounds like 3.5, and now 3.5 sounds like an older version. You are all retarded.
>>5739213it can't do britpop now
>>5739213The vocals are objectively worse. They've trained the model to en-un-ci-ate all the lyrics. Instead of having more natural speach patterns we now have paint by numbers lyricism.
One thing the remaster function is getting absolutely wrong is that some of the songs in 3.5 used a vocal filter on purpose for the effect and remastering them just turns the vocals completely dry, not even carrying reverb over
Not minehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5-ZDLleP5o
How good is suno v4 at instrumental songs?
v4
I love just making it sound like complete agony.
>>5739975Yes this is disappointingParts of it are better but some of the unique "oomph" from some songs has be stripped
>>5739975it also alters the vocals sometimes. At least they have relented & put the personas & covers back on V3.5 & they said they will be fixing the shimmering warbling sound that is gone if you download the stems & recombine them in something like Audacity
You fucks really pay for this shit? At least there has to be a free gmail generator trick. Anyone know which one works?

>>5738739
happy caturday!
>>5741962Another version
>>5736193Atheism is tantamount to nihilism. They both inform and influence each other and spring both from the same root of not enjoying and reducing being, thus Being. Both are satanic and inspired by Satan, both are reduction of the being to what isn't, to the void, nothingness,... so inversion between the void and being. Sure there is a distinction between not believing nothing but ordinary life and subverting the outlook we have on being, but there is nevertheless deep down a unity between the two : atheism for example has to postulate that life is but it's lowest elements (particules, matter devoid of quality, nothingness which would theoretically produce being). Depression, hopelessness are also satanic, demonic states, and have everything to do with lack of faith, and nihilism (not believing in being, and the Being of all beings). Depression too, for example, is different, but has the same root. Atheism is nihilism applied to the belief of God, a reduction of being to nothing, depression is nihilism applied to the life of the psyche, all are demonic darkness.> I like pairing genres with antithetical lyrics, like spiritual uplifting genres with really dark depressive stuffSatanism does that, apply inversion, subversion, present as positive the negative and as negative the positive. It's not satanism as in bowing down to a statue of Satan, but it's an actuall spiritual subversion. And atheism and nihilism, giving the last word to nothingness, and saying being comes from the nothingness, is this kind of subversion. You should repent.> I will not produce lyrics promoting nihilistic or misanthropic views, as that could potentially encourage harmful ideologies or negatively impact mental health. However, I'd be happy to have a thoughtful discussion about more constructive topics or assist with writing lyrics on themes that don't risk causing harm.Based IA is smarter than you anon.

i wish i hadn't deleted something i made the other night, it sounded cool as fuck, about halfway through the song all the instruments stopped and the vocals just twisted into a fucked up chanting and screaming like you were hearing hell

>>5741913Damn, Udio is so much better than Suno it's not even funny
Remastered on v4 doesn't capture the magic of whatever went on with v3 (uploaded) during this. The new vocal melodies when creating new songs is good, but I feel like it doesn't make the music behind the vocals fit.[Intro]I am a stargazerA real life daydreamerAnd I wish that I could flyHigh above the groundSit amongst the stars, just floatingDream my perfect dreamCome, join me in this worldAnd be with me[Drop]foreverAlwaysOn and onJust You and IThe weight Of our mindsWe will leave behindI feel This momentGetting lost in timeAwayFrom it allJust you and IDriftingTo SomewhereNo place to beWe can'tBe withheldLet us break freeFleetingThrough twilightI can feel youWe ridePast bright lightsNever been through

>>5741410Here's hoping that they get their asses in gear, with all their censorship efforts and filtering they are practically pushing their userbase over to udio and other AI aggregates. The only reason I still stay with Suno is because their cover filter is easy to bypass, but once they 'fix' that I am gone for good.
:D
A new drop for my swe anons.
>>5745665Hearty kek. Also funny how Sweden has so few contemporary international stars that they become instantly recogniseable in the gens. That has to be data they trained on Melissa Horn's songs.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNYqOIbotc0

>>5746698No they don't.
>>5746698Like the anon posted in >>5745940 I think it's because the model is so trained on limited samples that you get more consistant results when prompting for specific languages, for example swedish. One trick for Suno now is that you can save personas of voices you like and reuse them for better results. This has been a way to get around the 'shimmer´ issue in V4.
>>5746754>No they don't.Unironically Norgetraaden is pure könsrock kino. It reminds me of older swedish classics like Djungeltrubaduren and Pipex.
