Hello! I'm just learning how to make VGM webms. Here's some niche VGM OC! I captured it myself, no Youtube rips here. Just an autist and his cartridges. I made another one, this should be a bit more easy to listen to. I made the audio itself loop a few times before ending on a clean cut so seamless play is possible while once-throughs are more enjoyable. I never hear anyone talk about this game. It's a great time with couch co-op, and a rare breed for its time: a 2d platformer stealth game. It's casual enough that the little cousins can join in, you know? And this track sounds so espionage-esque, I love it.

As always, I do this for you guys. If even one person's mood is lifted a little, mission accomplished. And hopefully you sign off with another game on your retro backlog too!

Not a bad idea, but after archive was wiped out by a huge hack, I think I'll stick to multiple backups across my flash drives, phone, PC, etc.

The hardware is, uhh, jank to say the least. My only working "PC" at the moment is my Steam Deck, using Audacity to capture game audio from my console(s) using what can only be described as "spaghetti cable nightmares."

Genuinely, your feedback means a ton to me. Thank you.

Anyway, this chiptune comes from the shopkeeper's (Miser's) theme. I will admit I have barely played any of this game. I would liken it to those old grid-based JRPG adventure games. There are a lot of nice little tunes in this one, but good luck navigating pixelated Kanji textwalls to experience it all!

Music is a universal language. No matter how bitter and spiteful we may be towards one another, music is something we all understand. And ultimately, that's the shif that matters. Stay strong, anons.

I HIGHLY recommend learning command-line usage of ffmpeg. It's actually not hard to use. Here's the command I copy-paste for each webm:

ffmpeg -i <path to video file> -vcodec libvpx -acodec libvorbis <path to output file, EG path to\Documents\output.webm>

Here's a copy-pastable one if you're lazy.
ffmpeg -i <INPUTVID> -vcodec libpvx -acodec libvorbis <OUTPUT>.webm

This is a weird one. It's the Stage Intro theme, and as an intro, you only ever hear the first 6 seconds or so before each level begins. But the full track is so good! It exists completely on the cart, so why take up so many bytes with unused music? I also highly question the game's nomenclature. Dangerous Seed? If your seed is dangerous, make a urologist appointment, not a video game!

If you enjoy doing it, it's not a waste of time. If you always do what makes you happy, at least one person is pleased.

Here's what I think is a rarity - the uncensored explicit version of Forget by Differentgear. I'm not sure even the censored version ever appeared anywhere other than in the soundtrack of GT4.
