Hey tech retarded anon here seeking help. I have a 2019 Samsung q70a Qled 75in tv that has worked fine for ages.
Last night it threw up a storage full alert, which is weird because it doesn’t have many apps on it, so I cleared the cache and the tv began freezing requiring powering off to get back into menus etc. I tried factory resetting it but it’s still freezing intermittently. Any advice on trying to get this piece of shit to work? Any help appreciated.

Realistically given the symptoms you describe I doubt there's anything you can do without getting an expert to look at and if possible repair whatever is wrong. Who knows, maybe the storage is faulty or something. I mean feel free to try a different power cable or something to be sure but I doubt it'll help

I haven't had a TV in decades so I don't know shit. But like any other modern computer you could try to root it and update, install custom firmware or reinstall it's original firmware. The storage itself might be failing/corrupt but I have no idea what type of storage media TVs use and if you can easily replace it. Do a search for rooting your TVs model. If that doesn't work do a search for updating it's firmware. And one for its storage media, you'll get an idea if you can open it and fix/replace parts.

I got curious and looked briefly into this. There's projects that are hacking Samsung tvs on https://forum.samygo.tv/ so you can root the TVs or install custom firmware. It does warn not to update to Samsung official new firmware because their methods won't work. No idea if it will help you fix the TV or not.
