Is there anything paranormal that's nice? Why does everything have to be so horrid and spooky
>>
It’s a fear of the unknown. A lot of people report pleasant experiences with entities, ayys, and so on

Life back then was exactly that

Delusional gratification activation goes for the lowest hanging fruit and is a pig - anything will do.

The Holy Spirit of Jesus is pretty paranormal, and It's Pure Love.

i had a pleasant paranormal experience the other day.

What was it, Anon?

Faeries can be both.

well i was working on some third eye meditations before bed then all of the sudden i see an electric blue pyramid appear in my mind's eye. it was unlike anything that i have ever seen in my mind's eye, it was like a perfect hologram. i don't want people to get the wrong impression, it had nothing to do with egyption pyramids or anything like that, it was just perfect geometric holographic pyramid but it was so real to me. it was like i could just reach out and touch it, that's how real it was. it lasted for about 30 seconds before i lost focus and it went away. never experienced anything like that in my life before.

When I was 17 I encountered a spirit girl who I used to meet everyday in my local forest. She wore old clothes (Victorian era) and I thought she must be a ghost of perdition or something. Nevertheless she kept insisting that she had become a forest spirit because she had died really young and chained over watching the forest she so much loved two years till I began to lose my ability in seeing spirits.
I loved her and it really hurt losing touch with her. I bet she had it worse seeing me pass through the forest in a state of distress trying to figure why I couldn't sense or see her anymore. My gift has been long gone since then and I don't dare going there anymore because I know I will make her more sad seeing me like this. The most depressing thing is that I couldn't even touch her all this time.
I know that no one here will actually believe my story and think that I'm roleplaying but I post this just in case. Beautiful things can bring you great sadness but I'm still happy deep down for having the chance to meet her nontheless and having this fleeting gift in the first place.

It sounds like you've seen your soul, Anon.
A relative of mine saw an electric blue sphere after meditating a few hours per day for a couple of weeks, and was told that he saw what the buddhist monks in the Himalaya hope to see once in their lifetime, the image of his soul.
>>
>>20772255
I believe you.
>>
>>20772255
I believe you, Anon. I knew a girl that had the same gift (might even still have, I didn't speak with her a lot before she moved because puberty uncomfortability, still hate myself for that.)
I would want to encourage you to go back to that forest, and even though you can't see her, talk to her and tell her that you're fine, how your life is and what the outside world is like now.
If you want to, tell her that you love her, and that you'll never forget her.
Maybe ask her if there's some way that she can communicate other than talking, like breaking sticks or knocking on a tree once or twice in response to yes or no questions.
Do you have any stories about your time with her?
>>
>>20772282
that's pretty cool if i did. been trying to have an experience like that again with no luck.

Thanks friend.
>>20772333
We mostly spent our time talking about stuff. She was very lonely and I couldn't help but devoting as much as I could of my spare time meeting her. She described how she had lost the majority of her memories after she died and that the only thing she remembered was how she grew up in a big scary looking house and that the forest was the only place she could feel free, given that she couldn't remember having any friends as a human. She also had a faint memory of a person which she said was most likely her father hitting her for getting home too late. I could pick up that she must had been a child of a rich family and died around 14 years old judging from her appearence.
I used to stay with her playing hide and seek in the forest like little kids, watching the night fall and sometimes sneaking throughout the bounds of the forest area. She told me how she recognised a few people passing by and always had a great interest in them. She really liked observing humans and she was incredibly surprised when I could see her too. The most naughty thing she had done was playing pranks on unsuspecting people with making strange noises by touching the trees and throwing rocks around to provoke a reaction. Glad she could find someone so she could bond with people beyond mere curiosity.
The thing I always felt uneasy about was the fact she looked really sad and horrified that I could leave her behind one day which indeed happened. I wasn't aware that my gift could be temporary then and I told her that I would always been there for her. I feel like a liar sometimes. I'm 42 years old now I don't know if she will recognise me after all this time. Even If I could remain a person who's seeing spirits I doubt it would end up well. She will remain exactly how I remember her when I have grown up and I'm not a young man anymore. She would see me age and losing my youthful mind which could be much more painful that what actually happened.
>>
>>20772282
That's called ball lightning and you're lucky if you don't die from that.
>>
>>20772037
A lot of people experience beneficial coincidences and miracles, like synchronicities and spontaneous healing.
>>
>>20772539
cont.
I'm pretty sure she prefers it that way. I don't consider my story a tragedy and although 23 years have passed since and I'm married with a family I will admit that I still love her. She was my first love and till the day I die she will be in my heart and the time we spent together will always be special.
It's just that I'm gonna respect her and don't cause more sadness. I'll leave our happy memories forever intact. You mentioned that I could communicate with her again but I''m not gonna do that. The fact I lost my ability implies that I have moved on and have to accept that we live in different worlds.
My childhood gift enabled me too reach her in the first place something which wouldn't happen if I was someone else. I can't soil these memories with beating a dead horse and it might be a terrible idea if I go back there now. Your post made me wish to meet her again and I don't know what will happen to me if we manage to communicate somehow.
Thank you for your concern kind anon. I feel very calm when I think of her and I know that she has too accepted the situation in some way.

Mermaids myths involve luring and drowning sailors, but certainly modern depictions and stories are more fanciful and not necessarily dangerous.

Or maybe seeing this thread and being reminded of her is a sign that you *should* go back and try to communicate with her again. You did admit that you still love her, after all.

Just my opinion, for what it's worth. The romantic in me doesn't really go for the idea that you'd be ruining your previous time together by trying to reconnect with her, or that you should just accept being separated from her against your will. But I'm also someone who'd rather die than lose my youthful mind. If you have any desire to see her again, maybe you haven't actually lost yours either.
>>
>>20772202
Absolutely. I wouldn't trust any of them entirely, but there are alleged incidents of benevolent fairies helping people out.

People have talked well of various gods, too, and I've heard about ghosts who left people comforted. They are usually family and friends who have passed, but sometimes they're also just very kind people.

>horrid and spooky

Kind of like the conception of God, it's just a projection of who you REALLY are or want to be.

>muslims have a really pissed off god who demands perfection
>christians can get away with anything as long as they say they're sorry
>jews are the favorite child so they can do anything
>siks are just enjoying the ride

You know I think I'll take door number 4.

>It's just that I'm gonna respect her and don't cause more sadness. I'll leave our happy memories forever intact. You mentioned that I could communicate with her again but I''m not gonna do that.
You know, it's also possible the she's still in the forest and lonely as hell because no one else who could see her has come along. Even if two-way communication doesn't happen, she might still appreciate it if you went back and spoke to her, just so she'd know someone out there knows she exists and she isn't alone in the world. Unless she did finally move on and go to the next world, but if that were the case, I'm surprised she didn't visit you in a dream or something.

Have you ever tried to learn astral projection or something? I wonder if that might be a way to talk to her again. I don't personally know any actual techniques for it, but it might be something to look into. I wouldn't be so sure you've completely lost your gift. From what I've heard, what usually happens is that really young children, like 2-4 years, might talk about seeing spirits, their own past lives, and other things like that, and then they lose touch with that once they're 5-6 and starting to take a more active role in the physical world, and they forget they ever did those things when they were younger. If you held onto it all the way into adolescence and you still remember it, maybe it's stronger in you than in most people and you just need to train yourself a bit to get it back.

it's always bad because all the good shit is ignored because it's good.

in real life good shit happens but it never makes the news. There is a reason. If it bleeds it leads, but more importantly: if it pushes you down it encourages others to push you down.

I'm sure they seem like that at first, but in the end the goal of every succubus is to drain your energy. They'll act as kind, gentle or loving as they know you want in order to do this.

>>20782949
Still seems pretty nice of them. They can have my energy if they can help me with some sexual stuff and give me pleasure. What you've described doesn't necessarily preclude them from feeling genuine affection for the people they feed on.

One time when I was like 8 and home alone, I heard the sound of a kid jumping on my mom's bed and giggling. At the time I was spooked enough to not investigate it, but years later I learned my mother had lost a baby before me. Now I choose to believe it was just my older brother trying to keep me company while I was home alone.
