The only "natural" way gore occurs to humans would be if they fell off a cliff or got mauled by a bear. Car crashes cause gore but they are a human creation. Weapons cause gore but they are a human creation. As you can see, most gore is caused by human selfishness and greed (desire to drive fast cars) and evil (intention to hurt someone else; self-defense of course is not evil).
