Social life and relationships are like trains you have to catch at the quay, a race against time that takes place during adolescence. >>41628161You don't need lifelong friends. The people whose company I enjoy the most are always the people I meet through whatever I happen to be doing at the time. In college, it was classmates. At work, it was coworkers. At the buddhist temple I got to, it's the people I met there. It's the oldest friends I made when I was a teenager who I kept hanging out with for 10 years after we had anything in common who were the worst company. People come and go. Once you embrace that, your social life will be much more fulfilling.

Don't know where you are from, but in the US this is bullshit. I've moved 500 miles to find a job, changed jobs, changed careers and had plenty of people come and go from my life. The only people who stay are my wife, who I met after I moved, and my kids.
