I got a mod that replaces Artorias with Guts, his armor and weapon with The Black Swordsman's set/Dragonslayer Sword, and Sif with a Great Bonk Doge. Pretty fun mods that don't take away from the game all too much for me.

recently got back into main branch CDDA after having quit it for BN around the release of 0.F, and it's not so bad as the rumours told me.Really enjoying the extended crafting, no more just whipping up survivor gear from old rags and thread, got to find buttons, Kevlar thread and sheets, ripping apart firefighter clothing for Nomex thread and patches...Base is pretty comfy, got myself enough food for months (though most of it is junk food) Bright Nights was getting pretty boring and gamey, just didn't like the balance and everything would progress too quick, at some point I was just running around in a complete shitbox of a overhauled cube van from a dairy farm, plated with armour and a helicopter engine (gas turbine) slapped in guzzling fuel by the barrel as it hauled nearly 7000+ kg of shit while I was looting.I tried to make it less gamey by doing a NPC basecamp (had to debug NPC's in) but that just felt lame, and I quickly was losing interest after savescumming so much to avoid dying.

Exploring is especially boring in a game like Project Zomboid, there's no actually significant events (Yes there's car crashes, burst tire swaps and the extremely rare birthday party which I've yet to ever see again but that's pretty much it)I know from fucking around in debug mode there's supposed to be way more, like the "convict escape", "crashed bandit bus" and other stuff, but they pretty much never spawn anymore.But yeah, sorry for getting tired of games with the "this is how you died" shit after getting too good at them. Project Zomboid suffers from the especially detrimental lack of improvisation and solving problems creatively.
