I’ve got Sec+ and PenTest+ and with two years of experience. What should I go for next to land a job?

Depends on where you have experience. After about 5 years, experience trumps certs. They're really only valuable for someone who is a recent graduate or has made a career change.

Now personally, I'm a senior dev lead at a company and interview a lot of people, and I automatically dismiss all certs that don't have a "practical". Any certification that is only multiple choice is easy as fuck to pass by doing some brain dump or curated flash cards with anki, without really knowing fuck all about the content. Almost all of Comptia certs fall into this category, so they have no value to me. However more tests are being clever and actually have environments and REPLs setup so people can actually be put on the spot and apply real problem solving instead of going off of memory.

Do the AWS ones and get a dev ops job.
Then transition into more security related work from there.

I got my az900, ms900, azure administrator assosiate and azure solution architect expert and can't even get a interview

Going for my MD102 and MS102 next to see if it helps...

Also how hard is the Network+ certification?

I was reading in a forum, that a guy from Iraq was complaining because in his country the internet was very slow (30 to 50 Kbs/s) and quite expensive. And he was asking if it was possible to connect from his country to a computer or server outside his country that would give him access to a better internet.
No one gave a clear or detailed answer.
Some said that local internet providers would never let an out-of-country device connect to their network.
Others said that physical access to the router was a must.
If anyone knows anything about this, please contribute what you can. I have a similar situation, I have a slow and quite expensive internet.
>>
They would need to run a cable to you from that country.
>>
short answer no
long answer depends on what your isp is promising for speeds to begin with and if they are deliberately slowing your shit down below what they promise thanks to you doing something they/the gubbirnment dont like
>>
Your ISP owns the cable/antenna to your house or rents it from another ISP who owns it. I doubt this could be done on a consumer level

Can anyone recommend a gaming laptop that doesn't look completely cringe? Thinking of just buying a high-end Chinkpad and calling it a day. Though not sure if that's the best option...

Does /g/ know what O(n) means?
Hint: everything the redditor said is incorrect

You would lose that bet.
>>100315952
Big O is a fundamental concept in computer science. The fact that almost nobody ITT understands it speaks volumes.
>>
>>100315916
>since they make no sense, constantly use illogical leaps in their arguments and have an undeserved sense of superiority over others.
You just described yourself
>>100315927
You're exactly what I thought you were. Fuck off and die.
>>100315952
If it's bait it's hilarious but I've known too many delusionally confident retards to believe that it is.
>>
>>100315898
One could think it's a shortcoming and know the actual definition of it. What this would demonstrate, however, is that one lacks an understanding of why Big O exists in the first place.

>>100315945
The redditor is not providing the formal definition of Big O, but is providing a definition that is useful in the context of how Big O is typically used. For all I know, you could just be some undergrad who is struggling with his studies and cannot use the redditor's definition for an assignment that requires you to consider the formal definition. However, given that you are describing actual correct definitions as wrong without describing how they are wrong, it appears you don't actually understand anything about the topic, and are just trolling.
>>
>>100315860
I see, so you are not asking what does O(...) mean, you are asking specifically about O(n). My bad.
O(n) means that for a certain algorithm, the number of operations undertaken by that algorithm tends to the number of elements in the input as the number of elements processed grows.
The trap here is how "operation" and "element" are defined. Operation is a function whose domain is a finite set and it's co-domain is also a finite set. Element is a member of a finite set. That's why an algorithm that runs in linear time runs in O(n) time for a certain definition of "operation" and "element". If the size of each operation and input element were defined instead of left open to interpretation, then we would have to add a multiplicative constant to that n, and O(2n) wouldn't be the same as O(n).
There is also the other detail of which input elements are you considering. If you are considering all possible input elements then the number you are giving is the average running time for all inputs of length n. If you are considering the worst case of length n then the number is the worst case running time for any given input length, and if you are considering the best case of length n then the number is the best case running time for any given input length.
>>
>>100315981
I see you don't actually have any idea what you're talking about, very cool.
Here, let me spoonfeed you: How about modern big-O notation as adapted from Knuth's work and available in any intro to cs book published in the last 40 years?

I don't get it. Everything is on the same workgroup, nothing has similar names, but the only way for the container's share to persist is to disconnect the host from the bridge everything is on.
>Now Windows thinks the container's share is on the host

I knew there was a reason I wanted only one samba instance handling everything but I need a way to translate uid/gid based on the folder.

but then again, a $400 tyre change sounds about the same as a $400 "replace the HDDs that failed" to me

It's true, and it's based. I like KDE's scrappy feel. Brings me right back to the XP years.
Modern Windows is "polished" in the worst way possible. It's a cruel, vaguely sarcastic caricature of a commercial product. Microsoft is a living satire of the private sector, and Windows 11 is a perfect example of this, a desktop that goes out of its way to feel like a direct insult to every poor bastard who was forced to pay for a license with his laptop.
