My bro(we live in the USA) lives in an apartment and the upstairs tenant is a Colombian family. Their son for years outside has placed two traffic cones to block off the public street parking. Finally I got so sick of his shit that I called the police. And he and his mother flipped their lids, shouting profusely at us and had no idea how it could be illegal and how it was not their private parking spot. The son got into a whole shouting match with us and wanted to try to fight me. I get the impression that this likely is connected with their being from a lawless bandit country where the police, government and rule or law are emasculated by often more powerful cartels and organized crime and they are thus much more prone as a nation to do whatever they want if they can get away with it. Am I wrong in this stereotyping of Colombians?
