I heard tor does not work well with torrents, but i2p supports them well. Anyone got experience with that? Apparently xd and i2psnark are decent clients for this, but no idea where to get trackers?

I think one of the biggest parts of I2P network traffic and communities stems from BitTorrent. It's pretty active, you can get a lot of movies, especially a lot of German ones you wouldn't get on clearnet BT. Postman also has the ability to post wishes so even if you cannot torrent from the clearnet yourself, it's likely some kind stranger will download something and mirror it to I2P. Just beware that DL speeds are pretty slow, ranging from few kbyte/s to one mbyte/s at most, if a lot of people are seeding to you. It's best to run it 24/7 on some machine you don't use or that has low power consumption, like a RPi.
I2P is really great.

Leeching from a dead torrent that has no seeders?
>post an image that describes the content, such as the cover of a Bluray you want seeded (this helps get you seeders!)

>post the magnet (make sure you are leeching and have the torrent file loaded on your client so others can get it via DHT) or a link to the actual torrent file.
>wait for seeders and try to seed for as long as you can if your torrent gets to 100%
>try to back your torrent files up somehow on a USB stick, HDD, or cloud service so you can keep it alive even if your computer dies. Rare torrents need your help!

With the changing face of the internet and censorship as a whole I would like to personally consider siterips for archival, I do not know how to do this personally and would like your help

Question 1: is there any software that can rip a site currently without any captcha bullshit in a functional form to place on a HDD, for example archiving gelbooru with search function and tags intact so it can work entirely as an backed up offline collection?

I've only used this for wikis which are fairly open, but wget can recursively grab most/everything from a site. I used wget -w1 -crpnp URL to get everything from a few video game sites.
