>>3485863I always go classic because I don't like premade parties in general so I haven't touched story mode. But if you're playing Untold 2, search for diminishing returns and try to not pick Ronin.
It's tryhard edgy bullshit.
>>3485852Untold story modes are really shit and tedious, and I can usually tolerate lengthy stories in JRPGs, but in EO it just doesn't add anything + changing your class lineup in story mode is a bit cumbersome since you have to reclass the existing membersSo while I recommend classic for both Untolds, 1 has a bit of a shitty EXP curve because some storymode exclusive dungeons will be cut, there's a patch to fix that though if you're on a modded 3DS or emulating

I am tired of asking this question over and over again, FOR THE LOVE OF G-D, PLEASE give me some games that feature RAIDING.>world of warc-NO! I DO NOT MEAN MMO RAIDING! I MEAN RAPING AND PILLAGING! Rolling into your enemy settlements with intent not to conquer, but to take valuables and captives and fuck off, making you richer and them poorer. The more harm you can potentially cause the better. The fact that MMOs use this word for something complately unrelated makes this question ungooglable. Please help.>why is this on the RPG boardBecause the only 2 games that I can name where this is a prominent mechanic have been qualified as RPGs (though it's pretty dubious I admit): Crusader Kings 2 and King of Dragon Pass>well there you go play the sequelsI'll get around to it but I just replayed both I'm a bit fed up with them specifically, but not from raiding. I want to cause destruction then come back and make my people richer as a result of said destruction, while making my enemies bootyshattered.

I'm so baffled by the last third of the story. This whole post is spoilers obviously so I'm not gonna tag everything>wtf happened to AlbatrossI went for the data instead of saving him because I honestly believed I was being deceived into a trap or something. I was waiting for him to show up in the final mission with his gi joes and help save the day but it never happened, this dude really just randomly died off screen. Why would he even be at Brayko's mansion, why would Sis not be with him if he was there, how could he get kidnapped by some rando crackhead goon? His dossier makes it abundantly clear that he doesn't get personally involved in missions, so what the fuck.It was so cheap and forced, and with him gone my only options for a handler for the final mission were Heck (who the game kept treating as if he was my friend despite my rep with him being like -5 and SIE who I only ever talked to briefly one time and who didn't even particularly know me or like me.>SurkovI didn't get this part of the story at all. First meeting with him he tells me straight up that he's Halbech's contact in Moscow, then he sends me to kill Brayko to get the missiles. Then Brayko tells me that actually Surkov is Halbech's contact in Moscow (I already knew that) and he doesn't have the missiles. Then I go back to Surkov who at long last reveals that actually, he was Halbech's contact all along. And I never found the missiles. Maybe I'm a brainlet but wtf was that all about? The final mission was such a clusterfuck too. I picked to side with Leland because I had read somewhere that you can then betray him at the end. Then he told me to kill Mina for reasons, I never even saw her the entire mission. I was mean to Marburg so he just up and left, I got Parker to help me although I don't really understand how or why. Then at the end Michael tells Leland he doesn't need him because he has friends everywhere (literally just SIE, Heck and Surkov) and becomes the new Halbech CEO?
>>3487431Albatross thing was pretty stupid, yeah. You can get both with high Technical Aptitude skill (maybe a Veteran check as well, I don't know), but it's not exactly obvious. As for Surkov, he's a patriot who wants to use Halbech, not to be used by Halbech. He already planned to transfer the missiles after he learned what Halbech does to its clients, so he led Mike on a wild goose chase to hopefully get killed by Braiko while he gets the money and stays clean in public eye. Essentially he hoped that he could fuck up Halbech, and he holds no particular love or sympathy for Halbech - he just was very unsure that he could trust an American ex-glowie with this information, so Surkov tried to screw Mike over instead. Missiles were already sent to be sold, so by siding with Surkov Mike gets to know their location and buyer - thus, the mission is complete.
>>3487431It makes sesne when you know that the game was a rushed salvage job of a far more ambitious project that should have been more akin to Mass Effect 2. The game is full of plot holes or shit left for interpretation. Also instances of you learning shit in advance and then getting "surprised", like how your handler is an NSA mole, but she never says who she works for, even though this is flat out stated in a dossier you get in Italy. Or hell, how about Albatros and his Raynor's Raiders who literally never get their motivation revealed, apart from the Snowden aesthetic they give off. Or even better - that Chinese guy who actually is a Taiwanese double agent, but has no more story after this reveal.

What is your problem with it? Girls developing platonic feelings for each other is beautiful, just as men developing respect for each other and killing each other honorably to resolve their differences is glorious (e.g., Jr. vs Albedo, Achilles vs Hector). This is probably the best mod for any video game I have ever played.>over 80 hours in and still have 1/6th of the game to finish and more>very few soft-locks, that I haven't even encountered yet>story has actually been engaging for the majority of it>the world is designed in an interesting and cohesive manner>the balance isn't totally off and has a clear feeling of progressionHonestly, I feel like this has ascended to a new level of modding, where it's basically its own game. Only criticisms I have are that its tone is noticeably different from the franchise it's supposed to be a part of, and the two primary factions are too similar thematically to make you feel like picking one has a huge impact on the base gameplay.Still, best RPG I've played in at least 13 years.
>>3486546>Stop projecting lil girlyOuch, I've never been burned that bad by a little crying bitch before.>Not at all.Yes. Entirely. Unarguably.>Gee I dunno dumbass, what could be the difference between the game you paid for and the devs got paid to make and some mod that you got for free and the devs made it in their spare time?Absolutely nothing, when the argument in particular is over the fans of said game making the third party content. It could be the biggest triple A blockbuster the world has ever seen in all of history, or a game literally 4 people bought. The "fans adding content" bit is what matters. Your shemale daddy drop you on your faggot-ass head when you were born?>Yeah I doubt thatI already did and you cried and complained just like the people you're complaining about ITT. But it's probably best to just sweep that under the rug I guess, right?>I don't need to move anything. My point was that you're acting like a dumb teenage girl from steamforums. And you yourself provided evidence for that. The point stands and will stand unless you're going to start mass flooding 4chan with posts about the lack of russian localisation to bunch of JRPGs or something. How exactly, when I never complained about there not being an English translation you fuck-stupid half-wit? Please, enlighten me as to how I'm acting like someone from the steam forums when I literally have not done what you're claiming?
>>3486546>this is beyond patheticThe irony of this retarded level of autistic shitposting, when the English translation community is larger and far more prolific than slavshit translators, who sit in their vodka dens, eating stale low-grade tub-caviar, before going out in a drunken stupor and plowing into other people's cars. Leave it to the one autistic slavshit to point out the one exception, and then refer to a bunch of obscure mods nobody has heard of that nobody even asked for a translation of, as his basis for calling Westerners "lazy".Don't you have some more of your own fighter jets to shoot down, you gopnik retard?
>>3484138I'm still blown away by the amount of work that went into something the devs legally can't monetize. It's insane when you think about it
>>3486730Yea, there's only a handful of mods I can think of that have this level of dedication for them...Third Age Total War...The original Black Mesa....Enderal, and Nehrim, which ironically, are both inspired by Gothic 2.
>>3484138Just finished and boy...When they say, "it's not about the ending, it's about the journey," damn is it true for this game. I mean, the ending was okay, but it just felt really lackluster in certain areas. Everything else about the game was pretty amazing, but that ending....And the fucking final boss fight. I was only able to beat him by cheesing him with the crossbow.I now have no idea what to do with myself...I was putting 4 to 8 hours a day into it, almost every day. Felt like a home away from home.
I've seen people talking about it but not a single screenshot of the actual game. just 2 sprites.
