Are these fine for cats? I hope it'll prevent my cat from killing birds, but does it cause any other discomfort to it?

Wait...
That was their actual use?
I just took it as a fact that catgirls have bells around their necks which make my dick harder
>>
>>4789894
don't get that one unless you want your cat to hang itself to death. it needs an elastic bit
>>
>>4789898
the bell is to alert other critters, yes
>>
>>4789899
Oh, sure. I just googled any band. Thanks for the heads-up.
>>
>>4789898
Man, chokers in general, ideally with a little trinket attached, make me diamonds. I wish I could force my wife to wear them.
>>
>>4789894
It won't help the prey in any significant way and it will most likely disturb the cat at all times. If you let your cat out during bird breeing season, you are a bad man.

I hope you manage to convince her one day. Ask for it for your birthday or something.

I won't shut in my cat during the most beautiful season of the year, bro.
>>
>>4789911
Then do what you want to, I never forbade it. Would be nice if you could extend this compassion to the native animals as well.
I'll shoot any cat without a collar, if it has a collar I spare it once except from may-august, then all bets are off. Don't cry when your beast doesn't come back. I will never understand you people.
>>
>>4789919
Collars are bonus points
>>
>>4789899
this except any of those ones that are safe my cat would just immediately take off itself so i gave up
>>
>>4789919
You aren’t doing SHIT, cock sucking larping FAGGOT
>>
>>4789906
>my wife
we’re reaching levels of LARP not thought possible
>>
>>4789894
Like the other said get one with a loose fitting bit so they don’t get stuck on branches or something.
>>4789898
>That was their actual use?
Yes, retard.
>>
I feed coyotes and provide them with shelter to keep them safe from angry cat “owners”

They are more intelligent and soulful than their prey anyways
>>
They're horrible for cats, they damage thier ears and lead to hearing loss
>>
>>4790048
They've started killing humans, they're done for
>>
>>4789894
You know what will prevent your cat from killing birds? Keeping it inside you fucker.
>>
>>4790052
Nooo you can't let your animal see the sun that isn't ethical!

Use this. It's literally so easy to actually be a responsible pet owner.
>>

Anon...
>>
>>4790043
It's not only legal but required to shoot cats with 200m+ distance from dwellings here. And sometimes the cats even get unlucky and walk into my shot...
You can keep bitching while I let the fur fly on your invasive faggot pet.

A bell collar is more likely to prevent your cat from being able to evade other animals trying to kill it(dogs, brown children) than it is to prevent your cat from being able to pounce birds.
>>
>>4789906
her not wearing them is related to why she was wifeable
>>
>>4790159
I have one for my cat and this is my biggest worry. No possibility of stealth if it were to matter. Should probably take it off
>>
>>4790194
Take it off now, it also damages thier hearing.
>>
>>4790159
Thats it, im catching cats and putting bells on them
>>
>>4790198
>it also damages thier hearing.
See >>4790156
>>
>>4790221
It gives them a lot of anxiety
>>
Whats the best way to calm a feral down to let me put a bell collar on it?

Should I just pack a joint and blow smoke in their face? They're kind of uncooperative. Only downside is i'd smell like weed (i promise i will not inhale). Blankets do not work. Their claws can get through them, or worse, stuck in them.
>>
>>4790254
Don't do this, they know instinctively bell collars will lead to their deaths
>>
>>4789894
Cats quickly adjust to bells and adjust their stalking so they can still kill everything and the bell doesn't sound until they're actually in their kill lunge/leap.
>>
>>4790256
If you're not gonna help I'm going to have to go with my gut on this one
>>
>>4789898
Technically it is so you can find the cat. It's not for other animals, although I'm sure it benefits them. Cats like to hide in strange places, the bell helps you track them down.
>>
>>4789894
Apparently these don't work to alert birds. There are colorful collars that supposedly work much better.
>>
>>4790063
That looks like it was photoshopped on.
>>
>>4790254
I wanted to give you a joke answer, but I cannot think of anything sillier than your plan.
>>
>>4790283
Please I'm begging you don't do it, just get her a quick release collar, no bell
>>
>>4789898
>tranime nig is retarded
sick of these reruns.
>>
>>4790063
I want to swing it around above my head
>>
>>4789911
Just go out with it, that's what I do. Birds notice and fly away from me. Squirrels and chipmunks run off too.

Only had one mishap last year, my cat went after a sick finch that could barely fly and was just barely hopping out of his way, I stopped him before he got it but it probably died soon after from disease anyway.
