Even mainstream BIG Japanese games weren't always guaranteed to get a western release and the ones that did often had a very loose understanding of grammar. Did WD often go to far? I can't say they didn't. But being the era that it was they were pretty much the only ones putting in any amount of effort at all for these kinds of games. We didn't have anything to compare any of this too. It was even a crapshoot if people even say the anime itself.

Finished jiban, this show was fucking awsome, discotek got a really good one I highly recommend anyone into tokusatsu to watch, he’s more than just “Japanese robocop” this is something else. I think story-wise this imo surpasses sharivan, fight scenes are creative, characters are wonderful, it’s a great way to send off the 80s. Now my updated opinion on each showJuspion-Jiban-Sharivan-metalder-gavan-jiraiya-shaider-speilban(objectively there is no bad metal heroes show). As mentioned previously im skipping the rescue heroes shows for now so up next it’s jiban’s and robot detective’s spiritual successor, JANPERSON!
