seismitoad was the one stupidly overleveled pokemon i had in my first playthrough that steamrolled everything. he's not my favorite pokemon, hell he's not even my favorite water/ground type, but he will always be my nigga.

I'll admit, I used to be a Seismotoad hater. But I've come to love this mon and it's family. When I briefly returned to the series for Gen 7, I started using only Ground-types as a gimmick for online battles. So I got some good use out of it thanks to Water Absorb, which was a bit better in Singles (with better stats and moves than Quagsire). I even used Palpitoad on a NFE team I made to troll people online. It was a Rain Dance/Swift Swim/Metronome(item) set. Got a max damage Muddy Water off on a Clefable and 1HKO'd it.Glad to hear it's gotten even better moves since I left. And it's totally kino for mogging the most OP Pokémon in Gen 8 all the while being called a shitmon.

I will say, this mon deserves some STAB sound-moves. Maybe > Infrasonic Wave> Ground-type> 30% chance to lower Sp. Def
