Don't listen to anyone who say anything "bad" about the third season, they are unironically shills paid to shit on it because disney knows they can never replicate that level of quality again unless they get very lucky, and they don't want people to expect that out of them. The only things these shills complain about is one of the main characters doing something that is like her whole thing that she always does instead of changing into a standard cliche.It's not like the movie though. If you liked the movie specifically for it's simplicity you may not like the series as much. Also, they did have to change Eugene and make him a little less smart because him and Cass have a rivalry and if Eugene was like how he was in the movie, it would be very one-sided and make Cass look pathetic. Plus, he already has everything he could ever want at the start of the series so they had to give him something to do in episodes that aren't about him, so now he gets into shenanigans by being dumb. But it's not even that bad, it's only a very slight difference from his intelligence in the movie. And he grows from that starting point in the series so by the time season 3 starts he is arguably even more competent and mature than in the movie.
