Here is a weird one. There is so much less art for this show than Girls Band Cry- but according to /a/ salesfags Sasayaku is 28 places ahead of GBC in actual viewership this season. And it was GBC's 2nd episode vs Sasayaku's 1st. JELEE and Seiyuu Radio are also ahead of GBC in viewership- supposedly.I have also read that the only streaming service GBC is on is Abema. Crunchy refused to buy it and that is why English subs are delayed every week. Does this all seem weird to everyone?

Just picked up the manga, finished the first volume. I really liked the premise and it was cute until the confession. I don't know how I feel about these stories where the cat's out of the bag and it's all "I'm gonna make you fall in love with me" and one of girls is acting weasel-y as fuck.. It's a little realistic for my tastes. I got duped out by the cute artstyle and someone formulaic first volume (which I really liked) and I honestly was hoping it would be a prototypical yuri story with MISUNDERSTANDINGS and a confession that works the first time, many many chapters later.Should I keep reading? And the whole deal with Aki liking Yori kinda bothers me, I thought Aki was just a little eccentric but that development just made me kind of sad. I have a hard time imagining any high school, Japanese or otherwise, where a girl can freely talk about her lesbian crush without any kind of pushback from anyone. Okay, just gotten into the manga and I like it. Even though I haven't properly caught up with all the anime episodes, I decided to skip ahead to start from volume 5, since I think the anime will cover to at least volume 4.
