Do you shoot B&W straight from the camera or do you edit in B&W? I once shoot B&W straight from the camera and it was fun even if its nonsense from a technical standpoint because of post processing.

I almost always edit the photo (even if the camera has a B&W option). I know before I take a photo if it's going to be B&W or not.

Most of my editing is now done on an old version of ON1 effects and / or Snapseed. I really don't know the intricacies of either package and really just fiddle around until I get the look I want. I still find it surprising how far you can push JPEGs (which is all I ever shoot).
