Hi lads, perhaps I'm retarded regarding electricity, I'd appreciate help. I bought an audio interface to record my synths, the "esi eva uno". Works fine with the synths. I tried connecting my PC microphone and it doesn't detect any sound, I tried clicking the +48V and Hi-Z buttons but still nothing. Is there some fundamental difference between PC mics and non-PC mics? Does my sound card do any special pulling up of the PC mic signal that I don't know about? This doesn't matter to me that much as I wasn't planning on recording vpice, but I'd like a clarification.
