An abomination that will live out her existence as a slave to an evil sorcerer and forced to commit horrible acts against her will. Even if she dies her soul is bound to the dungeon to be resurrected as a monster again or forced to wander as a spirit forever. He loves her too much to kill her himself so he sees his only option as telling the elves everything, letting them kill her and bringing her body out of the dungeon to free her soul. It's conflicting for him because he wants Laios to succeed in saving Falin and telling the elves would screw Laios party over and possibly get them imprisoned. He gave them the bell in hopes that in the 1/1000000 shot they don't die to the sorcerer and save Falin, he can help them escape to the east.
Highlights of this episode: Kabru dies, but unfortunately gets resurrected and Shuro gets a beating, but still a faggot.Extreme lack of Marcille, very bad.
That animation of Falin scurrying up the wall like a chicken was so good.

The biggest downside of anime is that you can’t realistically get all the content of the manga in it. Dungeon Meshi plot and cast grows organically but that is a problem in an anime series when even after all the cuts it takes over 10 episodes to get to the really exciting parts, if they were to animate all the important bits it would take the entire season to get to the dragon fight and the early cooking episodes feel like they are just filler without anything important going on on a superficial level so it is quite a challenge to make an anime for mass consumption like this. I think Dungeon Meshi deserved the same treatment Made in Abyss received but that isn’t realistic and even MiA got their issues. Overall it is a good adaptation, the episodes vary between 6 and 10. The last episode in particular was great. Some cut stuff in past episodes might affect the experience of anime onlys.
